Does anybody know what type of music this is called? The first couple of seconds is like what they'd play in inspirational videos, or like "This is your uplifting future!" kind of feel? (Especially with the bass drop) It's not just uplifting music (you'd find a bunch of relaxing piano) or electronic... idk.

When i became a splatoon fan , I began friendships that last long and if splatoon wouldn't exist, idk what i would've made out of my life, this game is a number 1 favorite of mine and this song just brings my memories back when i started to play splatoon 1, where i made alot of friends.....tbh, splatoon 1&2 has all brought us together in one like no other community

All I could think during this was: Man the credits at the end of the game were pretty damn fresh though

I remember 3 years ago, being emailed the date of the very first testfire... Even though I'm usually no good at fast-paced games like these, I decided to give it a shot. I had nothing better to do that night... I was hooked after winning my first match, and I've been in love with the series ever since. The story, music, characters, gameplay... I love it all. And I'm glad to see so many amazing people live it as much as I do! Amazing remix, and happy birthday Splatoon!

I come after the Splatfests have ended and this is a good reminder to say that we shouldn't be sad that it ended but smile that it happened. And now I have two words for all of you "Stay Fresh".

Man, I still feel like it was only just released... I started playing the first game around September 2016 and got REALLY into it, so you can imagine how excited I was to see another Splatoon game in the Switch reveal, and when it was confirmed to be a full sequel.

Adore the fact that every part of the song offers a unique and new sound that keeps you on your toes for what comes next! Wonderful job, this has given me a very warm sensation! Love it!

There's something about this that's just so... nostalgic. Even before I'd listened to this remix multiple times over and over, the first time I heard it there was something special about the way all the elements work together. In particular, the main lead of the song sounds reminds me of a sort of happy birthday or new year sort of sound (as it's meant to be for Splatoon 2's first birthday) but the instrument over all feels familiar, while still sounding amazing. Especially with the contrast to the music box segments for Callie and Marie's solos to make them stand out, that section genuinely gives me chills (in a good way)... Anyway, enough about my weird emotional connection to this song Thanks for the amazing remix, and definitely the best take on Fresh Start I've heard!

While this song is on several of my music playlists (I might have a slight addiction to video game music...), this is the second time I've returned to this song as a sort of welcome on my birthday. Growing older, all the things that used to be so special start to lose their sense of wonder, but it's still nice to be reminded of a sense of positivity and celebration that I feel from listening to this song. I can't believe it's been 2 years since I found this remix, even longer since it was uploaded, and I'm sure it will stay a pleasant surprise showing up in my playlists for years to come

I love the remix, it still really represents the Squid Sisters' personalities for me, and for the first time, I didn't cry thinking about their live performance of Fresh Start (seriously, it's just sad ;u;) when listening to a remix of it. Even with the Octo Expansion out, I think you still chose wisely on the music, being the credits and all...this just gives me a lot of nostalgia and remembers me the good moments in game and hype in Directs... can't believe 1 year passed, I remember being hyped just for seeing the hero mode bosses xD Great job! It's now 2021, it's been 4 years since the game came out and we're already getting Splatoon 3... Wow, and this remix still slaps it's so good.

Man I remember when I first got my switch,I got Splatoon 2 with it and I played a lot of it everyday when I arrive home on fridays,now those days are over because I got bored of the game,now I play Cod,FIFA and other games, and I feel proud of myself passing my Splatoon phase.This song just brings back memories of my Splatoon Phase.

Fresh Start is already my favourite song in this game.But you make it even more fresher.

Man I love this song. This is one of my best friend's favorite games and I remember texting them so much about it when I beat the single player. This song was just on in the background as I talked to them and it brings back lots of memories.

Hard to believe the Final Fest of Splat2 is nearly upon us. It feels like only yesterday I earned my Golden Toothpick, and only a little before that I defeated Octavio again. I remember joining a team of Dualie-wielding cephalopods in battle for Splatfest as the fourth member, thrown together by pure dumb luck and sticking together for the rest of the fest, all of us sticking with our Dualies for the flair and the clout, fighting as hard as we could - And winning, too! It’s hard to believe that was several Splatfests ago already. And back in the original, I can never forget the time when Rainmaker first came out and I carried it all the way to the opponent’s base by myself, using an Inkbrush trail I drew around the right side of Kelp Dome. Man, time flies. Here’s to the memories we made in both Splatoon and its sequel - May Final Fest be as fun as ever, and may the future of Splatoon shine bright regardless of its outcome!

This remix is so well made. I can't help but feel really warm hearing the first few seconds. I love that feeling. I feel that Splatoon is just one of those games that Nintendo has engraved into my nostalgia memory forever.
