Just saw this, good video! I think queue dodging was not really a big factor in this tournament, as most top players played mostly Masters games, where every queue is just as hard as the next. Still needs to be fixed for next tournament though to prevent a repeat of Wool Wars #1. I think the biggest issue with points is not having the same points as your teammate, this makes literally 0 sense and no other tournament is structured like this with the points.

This was actually a really well made video, this is nit picking really but if you're interested in some things I think might make it that bit better, maybe when you put up sses make the gameplay blurred to draw more attention to the sses (and add more of a contrast) and at the end the gameplay with no commentary will reduce retention (if you care about that) also like a bunch of people have said the volume is quite low but it wasn't too bad for me tbh. But it was all overall really good, and these are just my thoughts so you can totally ignore it, I'm not trying to be rude or anything lol. I just know that if it were me I'd like the constructive criticism

great video, but with finals and luck, playing points minded is skill, and cleaning and going for people is a strat. There’s some randomness to it, but you can massively sway stuff your way that way. Look at POVs from the recent ranked doubles scrim tourney, any of those POVS in their comms u hear these people talking about going for the finals and stuff. That is strat and skill, if not more than just being a tourney based on wins

My point here is not that you can get a better position by getting more finals, because of course you can and theres no reason for you to not. The issue was theand the reasoning for that being an issue was the fact that an extra final kill through luck can have such a big impact.

If someone gathered a lot of alts, they can keep their teammate in gold or diamond bracket permanently as hypixel automatically warps you into the lowest bracket in your party, which is an advantage as the difference in points between brackets is not really enough to offset the difference in difficulty between the brackets. For example, if you win 25 diamond bracket games with 2 beds and 4 finals (1st rush + last other team), beat your 1st rush but lose 10 other games, and get first rushed the other 5 games, that would still put you at 1465, well into the top 100.

Yeah I'm aware of this, it's definitely not supposed to be allowed and I think it would be pretty obvious what they're doing, so they would probably get wiped. Also you could do that with only 2 accounts, and just go back and forth. I mean you could do it with 1 account but it would take time to lose the master game and get back into diamond

@@Gingivere yeah it would be more efficient to have like 5 accounts and a 3rd person to solo q and and drain the accounts while you play on the other ones. Tbh this was probably way easier back when you could buy NFA accounts in bulk and migration wasn’t a thing but it’s still technically possible now. Although it would probably look pretty sus if each game you’re playing with a different player but hypixel might just assume ur solo queuing.

How so?

every point was good except the one saying about luck that litreally makes no sense . every game has the luck factor u cant blame server or game for that u could just say the player is unlucky but u cant give him a spot . even while giving entrance exams we fail with just half a mark then also we had to accept it so that point is baseless.

I was not saying luck was an issue, as I said in the video that luck isn't bad. I was using the example of luck to show why the points difference between players was an issue.

a hypixel tournament client would not prevent cheating at all, hacked clients can be injected into lunar and badlion despite the fact theyve tried to prevent it

Solo queuing sucks. Having an AFK teammate in a tournament is not fun trust me.

They could partner with badlion or one of these new clients to get a hypixel tournament client. I feel like people will still play. And since it's for a tournament, people will stop using it once it's over

Even if they did do something like this, there would still ways for cheater to bypass it such as client spoofing, making this ineffective.

For example, if the client was only released shortly before the tournament, then people wouldn't have enough time to develop a spoof? And each tournament whatever the server checks with the client changes so people can't use one spoof from one tournament to the next.

Queue dodging should be bannable and enforced. There isnt a single game where it is allowed (even in casual queues). Appart from creating matchmaking issues, it greatly increases the queueing time and it indirectly encourages queue dodgers to cheat. I do not see a single reason why queue dodging should be tolerated.

How would someone be able to get caught queue dodging? What if people just don't want to play that particular map? Where is it stated as being against the rules? How does it encourage queue dodgers to cheat? What if peoople are trying to avoid being sniped, so they can enjoy playing the game? Is trying to have fun against the rules?

@@Gingivere You did not provide a single reason in favour of queue dodging. You brought issues created by queue dodging. With anti queue dodging measures and skilled based matchmaking (like with every single other game), snipes won't be a thing anymore. Avoiding certain maps is not queue dodging Queue dodgers tend to toggle because they don't accept losing to people with bad stats

@@typoilu3413 Skill based matchmaking will not helping with avoiding snipers at all - tons of beamed accounts are being sold right now and snipers are using it to take high winstreaks (even from legit players). Even removing queue lobbies and just replicating what servers like minemen club does will not remove snipers. Sure, dodging players for the sole purpose of playing easy lobbies can definitely be bad, but I can completely understand players who dodge to avoid snipers.

solution #3: only run TKR tournaments :3

@@Gingivere there's usually at least a 5-6 month gap between tournaments but they randomly decided to throw one just one month after the previous one and might I add just one week after we destroyed Rhune
