I love how the game illuminates things you can interact with when you hover over them, but Charlie still clicks on everything like a mad man xD

I love watching his uploaded streams while high, just to see Charlie become The Flash when he gets a glass of water 😂

Sometimes it's edited and cuts to as soon as he walks back into the room. So nobody is watching an empty chair for a cpl minutes.

Was watching this on the console, so no adblock, and damn. Ads, like, every 5 minutes. Kinda pushes you into watching on an unofficial channel that won't interrupt constantly. Edit: actually, sometimes ads are as far as 2 minutes apart.

Well the point of these is to make you go watch on Twitch. And 99% of people watching YT/Twitch content are not on consoles. Most are on phones or PC. I don't know very many people who watch on a console lmao. These are thrown here in case you miss parts of the live stream but the main thing is to make you GO to the live stream. That's why they aren't edited at all and just full vods. This wasn't really meant for you to sit and watch almost 4 hours of. It's meant for people to catch parts they missed on the stream.

I could hear the buzzing in the section Charlie noticed it. I rewinded and could VERY easily hear the high pitched noise almost as if your ear is ringing. Very weird.

One of my fav streamers/youtubers, but why in the world even play a game like this if you don't want to read anything or do puzzles?

It's because his gameplays aren't the type to watch for serious or detailed game play. He constantly misses clues, notes, storyline, etc. He rushes and etc. But most of us don't come for the gameplay. We come for the comedy of Charlie plus the comedy of the bad/mediocre games/etc

I mean, if your concerned about THAT you should ask yourself why he never wears GOOD headphones? He's missing an ENTIRE earpiece and that hands down ruins audio/immersion/horror by 10x at least. Scary games ARE NOT scary without audio. Same with atmospheric games, they are NOT good at all without the audio. So your main concern should be why does Charlie pretend he isn't afraid of scary games, why does Charlie miss super easy audio clues in atmospheric games, etc. The missing earpiece is a MUCH larger problem for me then anything else. You can't claim to NOT be afraid of horror but at the same time your missing literally 50% of the queues and atmosphere in it. (I know this isn't really HORROR) I'm talking about in general.

I saw a banner for lamplighters but saw/heard nothing about the gane or what it was until this video. Which after seeing it, I'm actually pretty intrigued as an xcom fan, I like the setting too. That all being said I wouldn't have bought it at release and still wont for the time being because between WoW, the new Cyberpunk update, and Baulders gate 3, I just can't have too much vidya to play and not enough time. This year has been pretty stacked on the gaming front I feel

man he just does not really understand abstraction or embellishment haha. This story is pretty surrealist, even gothic, the elements are not meant to be taken 100% literally, they are embellishments and abstractions to paint the story. Also, someone in communist russia desperately filming a porno for immigration papers to escape during war and genocide is probably one of the least-insane parts of this story.

when the dialogue seems like high school level rp, elements of the story are all over the place, and the game is lackluster at best, it's hard to give credit to any part of this game as being surrealist or abstract. those things are usually intentional, i don't get that at all from the game

I think YOU might've looked to deep into the game. Nothing about this game has given me ANY of those vibes lmao. The game was pretty shit overall. The writing was horrid. The story was half baked at best. So no matter what random "artistic" elements they tried, no one was going to give a shit. It's one of those things that even if the message is strong, since the core product is shit no one cares.
