PMP knives has been known for making some big, ridiculous, overbuilt knives. Some of them are hard to even really call knives. Funny, about a week ago I had posted my User II on my Instagram saying it's not something you'd expect from PMP, not realizing you had made this video a few weeks prior. I absolutely love mine, got it from White Mountain Knives on sale for $112. I completely agree about the front flipper - there's a learning curve to it, but once you figure it out, it's so good. It looks like you could get it from the top, but you have to use the front. FYI - the PMP User I (or just User) was a slip joint with the same or very similar overall design.

Mine has got some front to black blade play over time as well as some rust spots from just carrying on a hot day (fucking pocket sweat). After one sharpening got a smile but take that with a grain of salt as I am not a good sharpener. I really like the look of the knife but dont carry it much anymore.

Great lookin knife and China is making nice knives, but let’s not forget guys- Chinese S90V is not the same as Spyderco’s S90V. If you question that, simply perform cut tests and review the data. It’s that simple. Of the 13 Chinese S90V knives I’ve tested so far, I’ve yet to find a single one that cuts half as long as Spyderco’s.
