Awesome and so pretty despite the cloudy foreground! I actually see an early Victorian attempt to send up an unmanned spaceship to try and cross the galaxy having a missadventure. That's why they waited until the 50s to send things into space again. They're probably still ducking around the gears of the first attempt too!

There may not have been the depth that you wanted but it is still stunning. ❤❤

Such fun stuff, Claire! There is a lot of depth. Even with the mica powders blocking some visual effects, these are wonderful! Now I gotta get that glow powder! Gee, thanks...more money I shouldn't spend! 😅

Thank you Claire. I'm like you, I tend to overdo my glitters and powders and such. They turn out fine, but I had to learn the hard way that sometimes less is more. These are still very nice and I like them a lot. But you must have been a bit disappointed at the same time since you lost some of the depth and the glowing effect. I'm 100% sure your next ones will be even better! No matter the outcome, every time I pour, I learn what works and what doesn't. I learn what I like best and what I don't. But there is always someone out there who absolutely love it even if I don't. There is something for everyone and how awesome that there is that diversity in what appeals to each of us. I have seen some people try a method that doesn't exactly work out. But it can create an entirely new technique that produces some awesome effects that you might like even better than what was planned! It's all fun no matter what. I can hardly wait til Saturday! Last fall I did a bunch of playing with multiple layers in resin. Now that I've learned more, I want to try more advanced designs

Punky Cool!😊 I like the foggy look of some of those cogs peeking through that first pinky layer. Maybe just a splatter of the mica instead of a swoop? I think the glow in the dark has to be in the first layer or second at the most. Also, did you try a doming coat? That may increase the depth you're looking for. I love seeing unfinished sides, they have a certain je ne sais quoi😂.

I knew you were putting too much,and I also knew you would call yourself out at the end.

I've only recently started making bigger things than small jewellery with resin, and I'm yet to find the patience to not put everything in on the first layer. 😂 These are lovely, I really like the contrast of the brass gears with the vivid colours. And I like the time and space thing you have going on. There is a time and a space for everything, and maybe it wasn't time for the glow-in-the-dark powders just yet? 💗
