I looked at this a few times and a few things stood out to me, thank you for the for real reading. This hit the nail on several fronts. I definitely had to set a few boundaries the older I get. People mistaked my kindness for weakness way too much. People took advantage. I've always had genuine intentions and a pure heart. I saw this and made adjustments. 2nd. That's been a reoccurring theme in my life. People thinking that I was supposed to take them with me. They want to eat the bread but don't want to do the work. I work on my self every day, and they could do the same. They were thinking that they were entitled to my blood, sweat and tears. But they didn't do their part and take responsibility for their own lives. And on top of all that, a few of them thought they were entitled to a point where they thought they were going to make me do things for them. Or get people to see me a certain way as punishment for now cooperating. None of it was going to work. I cut myself off from people from my past. I want them to eat, but not at my table.
