Yes it was at Anfield but nobody gave Liverpool a chance when they went 3 behind to Barca in 2019. They also had Salah and Firmino missing who were both on fire at the time. Never give up.

Went to my first match at Old Trafford in 1957! I can honestly say this was the first time I sat down to watch a Utd. vs Liverpool game with zero butterflies or nervousness. There was absolutely NOTHING riding on this match for us , win, lose, draw it was not going to make a difference to our season. It was obvious that , subconsciously , the players knew that too. Prem league title is gone, Top four is locked in after Spurs and Newcastle lost , we've won the league cup, and are still in two other cups. 2-0 down it became a case of don't get hurt, don't get a red card and save our legs for Real Bettis on Thursday night. Still a disgraceful display! Put it behind us and move on.

This is mostly the same Liverpool who played every available game last season. Three season ago Liverpool, came off struggling and finished top four and thereafter went on to have a top season.... I don't usually give it any of my energy, but Utd fans online are absolutely hilarious. They're trying to justify losing 7-0 by saying "ah well we're Carabao Champions" after calling it a mickey mouse cup for years, and saying "we were never in a title race, top 4 was the goal" after having what is it now, 4 or 5 failed title charges this season? Their fans are incredibly insufferable, and for all the wrong reasons not because "they're back".

I’m with you Andy. Freak Result even Klopp said that. Whether it’s 7-0 or 3-0 it’s still only 3 pts and 1 game in the scope of the rest of the season is not the end of the world. Liverpool can vouch for that not only did they get beat by Wolves 3-0 they got beat by Brighton almost back to back to back.

@@paulflynn9527 nonsense? Those 2results were last season. THIS season we beat you once and you beat us once. So we scored 2 goals in the reverse fixture. However at the time 2 was enough to WIN. In the context of THIS season reality is even after that shambles at Anfield we are STILL 7points ABOVE you lot in the table. 👍
