I guess that's why Al Pacino in the movie 'The Irishman' stated, if you see a guy with a gun, you charge him, if you see a guy with a knife, you RUN

Even the most calmest individual has their limits. I read this saying quite often. It is something to the effect like this….the beast in me is not dead, it is sleeping. That’s why you cannot underestimate anyone. That person may seem meek, but you do not what he or she is capable of.

Knives can go all sorts of directions. Plus, they're clearly silent, and you don't have to reload them. They also never jam like guns do.

100% truth. I’ve trained in Kali, And all I need to carry is a knife for most defense. I am certain I could take down 99% of people with just a small blade. I’ve also trained in jiu-jitsu,Shotokan karate, and taekwondo. in my opinion, the Filipino martial arts are the deadliest.

FMA gives familiarity and confidence with edged weapons and that’s a big advantage. Also it does way more cutting than stabbing which is preferable for self defense in my opinion.

Interesting video, I don't even waste my time training with anything. I will not have at a moment's notice. So I will definitely ponder how to use my leather belt for this one. 🤔
