Honestly the worst thing she’s ever done is when she tried making Mariah Carrey drink champagne to find out if she was pregnant even though she hadn’t even gone through the first trimester yet and then a week after she had a miscarriage like just imagine the pain Mariah went through and that she had to tell the world she had a miscarriage like she could’ve kept it a secret but Ellen basically made her tell everyone she was pregnant at the time before her first trimester ended like it was so cruel of her to do that

EXACTLY THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING My mom had two miscarriages in her life which is why she never liked when people announced pregnancies early out of fear of them going through the trauma she went through. The sheer pain of seeing your mon cry when the fetus ends up dying is horrible, now imagine how having to deal with social media and a HUGE platform must feel like, like god that'd be absolutely horrible.

@Maria Isabelle Villacorte it's a mother losing her child. it may not have been born yet, but mothers generally form a connection with their children as soon as they become pregnant (if they plan on keeping it obv). to go through the pain of losing a child is hard enough, but she had go through it and also have her business in the public when it couldve been avoided.

Also, when SuperM and BTS came to her show, she was making them so uncomfortable with questions like “are you dating”, “have you hooked up with a fan”, when it takes one literal google search to know that idols aren’t allowed to date, and if they do, they keep it a secret because there are many crazy stupid fans that cannot differentiate an artist’s private and public life. Also, when SuperM literally donated like a million dollars to her foundation, she literally received with this face 🙂, and didn’t even look thankful :/

@@montxualsina9812 I speak mandarin and she was asking the right question, and in her defence, the grammatical rules of English and Mandarin are fairly difficult to translate so that's probably why she was taking a bit longer. If Ellen had waited a few more seconds to let her finish, the question would've been translated but instead she doesn't understand that other languages may have different grammatical rules and therefore take longer to translate

People who say things like, "I'm sorry your feelings that way" or "I'm sorry if your feelings were hurt" is a huge sign or narcissism. Because they are putting the blame for the effect of their actions back on the other person. I think most people in Hollywood are narcissists and I think we should stop caring about them.

I mean that’s the question she asks to basically most of her celebrity guests so I didn’t have a problem with it. I really liked her show at the time so I was just excited bts was there and it was funny. But after superm i saw how rude she is and I’m so done with every interviewer asking guys if they are dating. I get it do it the first time they came to US, no one asked them but like common it’s their business+their every question is so repetitive. It’s annoying and boring.

At one point he mentioned how he hadn't seen a white person apologize without saying the world "privilege" or mention how they have one and shouldn't have abused it but Jenna marbles didn't. Her apologize was honest and genuine. I would love to see your take on it or your opinion on it? Unless you've already done that which my bad. Love the content

I don't even feel like the statement "I'm sorry if I offended you" is that problematic, IF it's followed up with something along the lines of "now that I know, I'll take care to avoid actions like that, and think more of others when I act." I think that first bit is so problematic because it's just honest enough, I.e. "I'm sorry you're upset [because it's now hurting me]," then it leaves it open enough that whoever said it can pretend the "I'm going to try and not do it again" is implied, when at this point, it's easier to believe you said that because you plan to do the thing again.

That virtual audience is TERRIFYING. Also anyone who has to say “You know I like you right?” Also terrifying.

My dad use to work at the house of blues and Ellen had a show there she didn’t talk to him but his coworker got the wrong type of coffee so Ellen threatened the guy by saying she is so powerful that she could ship him to another country to have him killed so I kinda knew she was terrible the whole time To everyone calling this story BS I understand how they don’t believe it but honestly I don’t have evidence myself it’s a claim my dad made but the hate gets frustrating

I don't get why is that so weird. When youtubers do that it's "oh they are trying to change boohoo they look really sorry" when celebrities do that it's "oh they are just sorry they were caught". There is literally no difference. Pewdiepie could punch a child and still have millions of fans. Famous people are never sorry. They can get away with anything so why should they be.
