Some Say This ARTICULATED STREAMER moves too much! - Slush Rocket - Fly Tying Tutorial

Спорт

In this fly tying tutorial, Cheech ties an awesome articulated streamer pattern, the Slush Rocket. This streamer pattern was tied using some new materials we recently got in the shop. It moves a ton! Some may even say it moves too much!

I just crawled out of bed (5AM). Reggae-type music is a great way to start the day! Cool fly. Thanks!

Excellent video and very nice looking fly Cheech. That color combo is deadly. I use a very similar combo in my Creamsicle Flesh fly and that combo works 👍👍

Looks great as usual! Keep them coming. Also, have any articulated streamers that you recommend for winter fishing on the Green (slow moving)?

I know it might add a small amount of time, but what about spinning a marabou brush for the front? I've never had good luck with palmered 'bou. Couple fish and its shot.

Wonderful fly. $1M question, did the slush punch drink include Sprite so it was all bubbly and served in a bowl with a big dry ice cube?

I’m fairly new to fly tying. What’s some begginer’ish streamers I should start with besides a woolly bugger?

Easy Beginner Streamer you could look into: Zonker Streamer, Clouser Minnow and Muddler Zonker. These are all fishcatcher and also will teach you some basic technics to work with deer hair and Zonker strips. If you mastered them you could go for the bigger articulated versions of those like the Bruiser Bugger, Seasoned Geezer or Trout Slider.

The squishenille is not the same as the hardline UV tan. Where does one get this orange core version?
