As a new knife maker, I went to Greg's shop and it was an awesome experience. He was very nice, showed me around the shop and showed me what he was working on. I reached out to alot of other makers and had many blow me off and not extend the same warm welcoming that Greg did. Thanks for that Greg and continuing to push American manufacturing. 👊

I purchased a OTF from your daughter at blade show. I also shook your hand and took a photo with you. Very happy to meet you and your daughter. Love the OTF.

Hi Greg. Thanks so much for walking the Early Bird line at Bladeshow. I called out your name and you came right over and shook my hand. I really appreciated that. Had a couple nice chats with Roxanne at the booth too. Great young lady. I’m sure you and Amy are rightfully proud. Can’t wait to see what projects you come up with next. Love the two I have now.

As somebody who has been trying to get my budding knife business off the ground. I understand the expense and the resources that are needed just to start making your first knife, let alone the amount that Greg puts out, all the logistics behind it, the hopes and prayers of the people who are with you along the way and the possibility of it all failing if you are not 100% on board as the owner. I have nothing but adoration and respect for this man.

Greg, You have an amazing product. I have two MKTs and love them both. There is no such thing as the perfect knife or mechanism. I am always dumbfounded when people strive to criticize or critique things when they have never manufactured anything in their life. Usually people who do this have no control in their life and this is their only power.

You are one of the main guys in the Medford knife/aficionados group on Facebook. And one of the few I actually interact with. I don't have a Facebook, so I use my wife's account. And strictly for knife groups. There has been an overload of Medford hate. I can't wrap my mind around why people stay if they are haters.

@@cassidyheaton1586 I know people are pissed about the OTF rollout, and Blade Show... I get it... But I think Greg is trying to produce the best knife he can, while keeping it American made... The phrase, "It ain't rocket science" comes to mind because some tolerances knife makers have to hit are the same as some rocket parts... And there has been a whole lot of trial and error in rocket science... The more he makes the better they will get, and those who choose to go first have to be willing to wait, and maybe in some cases send them in... Car companies do it all the time with, often times, simple design mistakes that aren't found until the product gets into the wild... Hell, even Apple with their Chinese army of workers puts out defective parts, or software... Basically I'm saying the more Greg gets knives in the hands of potential customers the better his knives will get...Having a few OTFs at blade show could anger those who have been waiting for their knife, but on the flip side, getting customers to see the OTFs sells more knives and overall tightens tolerances, and improves quality... If you don't like Greg or his knives, go buy someone else's... I don't care for Hinderers, but I won't bash a maker trying to keep American jobs going... I'll just choose something else...

I love stamped titanium clips. I'm a technician for an American small engine manufacturer (not hard to guess which one) and I've fucked up so many milled Ti clips climbing in and out of machines. The stamped titanium clips get caught way less and I can just re bend them by hand right after if they do get bent. I'll always gravitate towards the flat clips.

Greg I don’t own any of your knives. I don’t know k ow other than chat comments on your lives. I have decided to Buy a Black card with the mystery knife option. I am buying one of your knives and investing in your company because I believe in America and I will get a knife from you sometime in the future. Whether we agree or disagree it is very important too support USA made businesses. I look at this black card as an investment in America. if you send me a knife great awesome and if not well rolling the dice and taking on risk is what makes also makes America so great. I hope you can raise the money you need to bring Medford to everyone which makes my investment so important. Let’s go guys, gals and others an American wants to build something you don’t hear that everyday!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥🔥

Sharod with the Med-Head group, the guy that personally vouched for a thief he didn’t even know or meet that scammed several people out of thousands of dollars that was supposed to be a partner with Jake Smith? The guy that buys used Medford knives and uses a “knife pimp” to mod then resells them at a markup that now has a void warranty per Medford policy? The one with Legendary CPM, certified preowned Medfods that are not actually certified through Medford at all? That scammer, that Sharod? The one that chose that name in case Medford went down he could spin the name as in “CPM” steel instead as a fall back. Yeah he is a great guy!!……… Not so much.
