Flatt & Scruggs did not write Some Old Day even though their record credits Certain-Stacy, their wives maiden names. It was another song Ervin Rouse didn't get credit for. The Rouse Brothers first recorded it for RCA in 1939 and released on Bluebird B-8197.

I only mentioned it because sometimes I come across a video that the uploader didn’t know had something that had gone wrong with the sound during processing that turned out to be fixable. Sounds good! I’m so envious of all of you. Must be nice to be able to play well enough to play with others. I love that song so much.
