Some of this stuff scares the 💩 out of me 🇺🇸 50 STATE SHRED: FLORIDA
Спорт
📺 Check out longer videos and early releases over on / bkxc
Let’s check out two classic South Florida mountain bike parks in one go. I first learned about Markham Park from watching early videos from Seth’s Bike Hacks, so it’s pretty fun to get to ride on hallowed KZread ground. @BlindstuffMTB leads the way!
🇺🇸 50 State Shred MAP: 50stateshred.com (Updated as I post on Patreon)
Both parks have some DICEY features that are legit scary. So many gnarly skinnies, weird drops and goofy jumps. Good on these Florida folks for building some real deal goods.

BKXC Are you postponing the rest of the trip? Or are you at least able to travel home? I’ve been quarantined by the UK gvmt and as of today I will be working from home for at least 3 weeks. Pretty grim situation.
Stoked you enjoyed SoFla, was a ton of fun to show you around! Really appreciate you got to tell a sliver of my story and Venezuela. Been loving the 50 state shred, keep it up. Hope the current situation is just a speed bump and that the 50 states remain doable once the craziness subsides.

Great video. Gracias por compartir tu historia sobre nuestra Venezuela. Saludos!
Amazing what Florida trail builders can do with such a flat landscape. Tons of work involved. Looks like a rollercoaster ride. Cool stuff. Thanks for taking us. Keep rocking your 50 state tour.
"Fitness is rented not owned" definitely needs to be on some merch!!! Great video keep em coming!!

This is literally the best VLOG/Trail/life-advice/wholesome-series ever. Thank you for the entertainment!
Thanks for stopping by our local trails. 80 degrees? It hasn't even gotten hot yet. You need to get a ceiling vent for that van. One with a fan in it that comes on when it gets too hot and helps cool you down.

I just started watching your video series and it has been inspiring. Thanks. I just retired from the Coast Guard last week and bought a new mountain bike, cant wait to hit the trails and spending more time outside. Thanks for the motivation .
I was not born in America. But I can say: It’s the best country on earth 👍 Enjoy the Freedom for 45 years so far😊 I’m so privileged to live in America. God Bless USA🇺🇸. Now, I need to convert to 1x12, need that 50t sprocket for my age 😅
Riding videos are the best distraction for what's going on in the world right now! Bikes and Beers with buddies should never be taken for granted again! :)
Perfect quarentine break. Felt like I was riding the trails. Thanks for doing what you do.
Yes we like our Florida trails!
Brah! I was just vacationing in Florida and rode Markham for two days. That place is legit! Gun Range is a wild trail. Really cool stuff there overall. You're right about the heat too. The sweat factor is real!
Perfect riding season here in south florida is from November through April. Thats when the cold air comes and the stickiness leave. Glad you enjoyed it here.
6:28 Brian says "good wood" Cant get enough of his amazing channel!
Love the background history and stories about the places you're at in each video. Always interesting!
Great to see you enjoyed our local trails at Markham and Virginia Key! Tell Seth the "tall guy" from his last BBQ in Ft Lauderdale said hi! 👋😁🌴☀️ Stay safe and keep shredding!!!
It was bittersweet watching your video of Markham Park come out the day the park was closed due to the virus. Glad I was able to get one last ride in the day before it was closed. I was stoked to see you hitting the jumps and clearing them. Cool to see your progression getting more comfortable in the air.
I saw the yellow on the yellow brick road trail,it was painted on the side of rocks going down!
That second bike park you rode looked awesome...thanks for sharing! Also, I note you modelling the t-shirt for the BC Bike Race...cool!
Your content is as good as its ever been! Keep up the shred man, stay healthy in NC 👍
Beautiful scenery and awesome trails! Love the van life 👍👍
I agree on the Florida trails, you get worked, and they are so much fun.
That “handrail” towards the end was a skinny. Crazy if you ask me. Loved to see you shred my local trails can’t wait to get out of Florida and do some riding elsewhere. Your channel is showing off all the hot spots 😜
Love your vids so much!! You inspired me to believe that climbing can actually be fun! And you inspired me to compete in my first race this year with your bc bike race vids!
"paved berms are the best berms" sure are, until you go down and the pavement rips your knee guard off! OUCH....
Awesome video, those trails look a lot of fun !!!
🤙🏻 Quite a chill vibe you we're able to capture here - very much appreciated, *_thx!_* 🙏🏻
Awesome video! Thanks for visiting and showing off South Florida to the world of MTB. I knew about Markham Park but not Virginia Key and based on your video I’m going to have to drive down there sometimes soon. Keep those good videos coming man. I always look forward to your next destination. The 50 states shred is a great idea!
In S.Fla it's always the norm to finish like "Wet Dog". You should pass by in July. The mosquitoes will carry you away if you stop for water in the trails.
Great edit, history and riding in our local SoFlo trails, Brian. @BlindStuffMTB delivers on the knowledge of our trails and is a great guide. Hope you get to ride more of our Florida trails quickly on your way back north before the epedemic C-19 lockdowns occuring down south begins creeping up in the state. Btw you've improved on your skinnies! Nice work, dude! The "handrail" is the skinny that Lenosky did clean during the VK grand opening of the new extension in Highway To Hell.
So stoked to see you make it all the way south to JD, Markham and Virginia Key!
Great vid. Time lapse drive at the end, was a nice surprise. You went right through my old 'hood. :)
Those jumps at around 5:35 were soo clean, yeah BK
Wow that looks fun ! Awesome video
This is my virtual travelling and I truly Enjoy !
That place was insane. I am marking it on the bucketlist. So rad.
Both of those parks were pretty cool. There wasn't anything too difficult. Looked like they would be fun parks to ride. Brian be safe and be careful.
I love that you featured BlindstuffMTB! His video quality is top notch and he deserves more subscribers. Hopefully he gets a well deserved boost! What a story too. Great video! Looking forward to the Berm Peak madness.

Those Florida trails looked like Soooooo much fun! I would have had a blast there! Lucky guy!
Wow its still wonderful bro whil we are in lock down here but we are watching you.....thanks a lot stay safe.
The weird water taste might just be FL water. My memory of it is it’s kind of brackish and sulfury.

Our trails! Thanks BKXC!
I was there exactly a year ago shredding the red dirt jumps! it really was worth bringing my bike over to my grampa's condo in Fort Lauderdale! loads of fun!
I had no idea those ridges were from Mining, pretty cool! It’s amazing how creative people get when there isn’t much elevation to work with. I had no idea those Virginia Key trails looked like that.
I'm a commercial crab fisherman and usually spend winters in sw fla working and I've been debating getting a new bike. The last time I rode I was living in ct and had a santa cruz heckler. You've totally inspired me to start riding again so thank you for that. I think I'm gonna try and get an ibis ripley or ripmo. My gf isn't too thrilled lol
My suggestion, next time when you are that far south (Florida) make effort and visit keys, it is only 140+ miles to the Key West. Though, no MB parks and trails.
Looking forward to can update videos now that you’re on lock down with Seth and Alex! Be safe!
Fantastic video Brian, from Melbourne Australia 😃🇦🇺👍
this is amazing cycle riding i like your cycle ride thank you for your videos.
Hey Brian, Venezuelan here haha, really nice to see you riding with a fellow countryman, It's true what he said about the whole situation in Venezuela. and it was really cool to see you riding in S.F. I Lived in Fort Lauderdale in the 2000's.. Hope you Seth and Alex are having an awesome time on Bern Peak.

I’m just hoping the Queen of Berm Peak Castle doesn’t get tired of you guys.
Looks awesome!
Cool vid. You will need a ceiling vent carved out on your roof before summer hits. Something is not right 😊
Big up Brian! Great video again.
Love every video u have made. Been watching all of them, even back when u first started. Livin the quarantine life right now #🖕🏽🇨🇳
Great video!
I lived 25 min from there as a kid. Wish I did still haha. Was headed there for spring break but... well I'll be there soon!

Wow - you really have to focus when riding those trails - can't be like oh look at that ocean - bamm - into the bush😁
Hell yeah I needed a warm weather ride. Been raining a lot here in Oklahoma lol
Great ride bud that’s my play ground. That heat is no joke.
Seth's old stomping grounds! I live here in Central Florida but haven't been out to ride down south yet.
Nice video! Blind stuff mtb is cool dude with a great KZread channel!
Hey Bryan next time you come down to Florida you have to check out Mount Dora and the Candyland Pump track they are both worth your time and we should totally ride together! Another great ride at a great trail.
Love these videos, great way to escape the gathering sh**storm here in the UK. So jealous, drove passed my favourite trail isolating in the car today. Lump in my throat and tear in my eye. I will return to it! Keep the content coming..
Heat in March...nah! Come ride with us in August. It seems like you missed a couple of nice drops and jumps in Markham. Nice vid!
Markham Park are my local trails. A buddy and I built that log skinny after the paver climb in Gunrange.
Really enjoyed this one.
someone should make a chuckle counter on these videos lol
Sorry that you might not be able to hit every state in this year. But, you still could hit all of east coast when this quarantine is over...hopefully. Come up to West Virginia, we have epic trails all over our state. Snowshoe resort is one of the most challenging parks on the east coast. Hope you stay well and keep safe.
Damn Brian your skills r getting great 💪
Great video
The skinny log at 4:12 my buddies and i train it all the time
And on the jump line you pump the first little bump to help with the table tops
If you put a tablespoon or 2 of apple cider vinegar in your big water container it will keep it fresher longer. I also put a teaspoon or 2 in my bladder and it lasts longer. You can’t taste it, so no worries. 😀👍
Stephano is cool as a fan..... Sorry I missed you Brian....

Cannot go wrong with Merino bike gear, dires fast, keeps you cool in hot and warm in cool, can wear for week before really stinks to bad
Not afraid of getting some AIR time anymore...so glad!
Sorry to see your trip has come to a bit of a roadblock....but looks like you'll have an awesome time with Seth and Alex!
I am a bias Florida resident. However, my favorite video of yours to date
Bucket list for sure
very cool place!
Second spot was very cool. Bon Scott lives in Brian.
Brian, Geosmin and Methyl-Isoborneol (MIB) are naturally occurring compounds that have a very strong, earthy taste and odor. They are both fairly safe but just no real pleasant to experience. You are better served to use cold drinking water and room temperature water for cleaning.

Whoop stats? Dude that second spot looked like it would be a blast on a gravel bike!
Of course we enjoyed the video!!
Nice video again I Like the hesitation getting into de skinniest I would never done that
Reminds me of an amusement park with different rides.
BKXC: Thnx for being part of the solution !
about the water, my best guess would be the plastic containers

Living the dream!
Me: I hope he goes to Markham next BKXC's very next video: *delivers* The last time I had the opportunity to come out here was three years ago and it looked nothing like this. Holy cow do I need to come back with my friends
