I want to thank Thor for his positivity all this season of Andor. There's been a lot of in-fighting in the fanbase about this show, but Thor has maintained his calm and rationality, and every review has been wonderful to hear. This show is something to celebrate, and if some people didn't like it, I just hope they can be happy for those who did. Hopefully it grows in popularity, and Season 2 improves upon Season 1 to embrace even more fans.

Really? Thats unfortunate, b/c I thought they'd made his death a turning point in my eyes. Something that was not just 'important' but critical or life changing I guess. His idealogical speech around the fireplace (to me) made it, 1) I knew he was going to be sacrificed to elevate his/the speeches importance 2) was going to be a rally cry or a flashback or something to Cassian and WHY he would fight for what he fights for. Its sad b/c as soon as he gave his speech I felt sad, b/c I knew the poor young lad was doomed. Not to mention the actor has such a baby face to add to the loss.
We had 3 major speeches in this series and the director did well to depict star wars in its true seriousness. You know it was a good episode when Maarvas speech evokes your feelings and make you hate the empire. The tension, emotions on everyone's face, the ambience during the scene, simply phenomenal. Seeing Luthen react was my breaking point. Seeing him realise that he truly shares his vision with ghosts, but at the same time feeling relieved that there is still hope for a rebelion and a war that he won't fight alone anymore. Simply put, 9.5/10 series and episode. This is star wars and we want more like this.

I think Luthen also thought that the way he acts behind the shadows is makes him a bit of coward. Watching all those people fight with their bare hands and him sacrificing others, for good, but knowing that he is not himself that will be sacrificed. He had almost a bit of shame in his look.

I'd love to hear you talk more about Syril Karn's journey through the series. I feel like he was the reverse Luke Skywalker of this show, that we saw a complete hero's journey upside down. He had all the hallmark checkpoints; starting in the mundanity of his life, the call to adventure when he starts the murder investigation, the meeting of the mentor in Dedra. He sacrificed everything for his belief that he was doing the right thing, that he was doing the just thing. He even got to save the 'princess' at the end. It's like the writers wanted to show us how we are all the hero of our own story, which I find to be an excellent subversion of the monomyth of Star Wars through Syril being one of the bad guys.

As a music teacher I have really enjoyed listening to the varied opening credit scores and trying to guess what it could mean for each episode. The music in this last episode was especially unique. Brittel seemed to have scored the instruments to play intentionally out of tune or scored in different, adjacent keys, creating not just a dissonant sound, but an out-of-tune sound. I thought at first that this just was meant to represent the brokenness under the tyranny of the empire, but when the episode gradually showed the band members tuning their instruments and then each one trickling into a final unified dirge it made me think this was meant to represent the trickling of people into the rebellion. The change in hearts of the people of Ferrix and around the galaxy, which harkens back to Luthen’s speech to Cassian and Nemik’s manifesto. Each person present made the decision to not let the empire “scrape away at their lives” anymore and instead to come together in harmony to make a stand. Like musicians, they combined in purpose to play in tune, as one body, to do “something” in rebellion against the empire, come what may. Because it’s better to do something, or even to die for a cause of freedom then to barely live under tyranny. I was completely enraptured by the scene.

Thank you for all this. I really appreciate your breakdown and analysis from the perspective of the music. TBH, I actually haven't paid any attention to the music in this show, and I find this to be to it's credit. It does what it does so well that it ads to without distracting from anything. I love John Williams' scores but while all that ads up to a character within in it's own right, this approach is so serving and humble that it goes unnoticed, well consciously to some of us at least.
One of the things that I most appreciated is how Andor portrays a working class community with depth, conviction and dignity. It hasn’t been since Pride that I hadn’t seen such a rich, respectful, affecting portrayal.

The funeral procession music IS the Andor Theme and is apparently a Ferrix Traditional funeral hymm. If you notice Bix sings along with it so it must have lyrics or prayer evocations that go with the music …that tiny world building is what sets Andor apart from everything else

Luthen is probably just taken aback by the whole thing. That scene, I feel, is him being in the moment feeling what the people of Ferrix are feeling and eventually realizing his life's work is coming to life right in front of him. I'd go as far as him catching the glimpse of his sunrise. And Cassian ready to die at the end. I freaking love this show. Oh, I don't know if this was intentional but I like Brasso and all the big men in red turning their backs and showing no respect to the ISB while listening to Maarva's speech.

Either that, or he could see himself being made obsolete by success. How much will the rebellion need 007-type operatives like him once they can revolt openly?
That episode had so many moments that hit: Andor's expression when Brasso told him his mum's last words, Mon Mothma's play in using her husband against the Empire, Luthen's face as he watched the townsfolk die, Andor getting Bix out of the garrison, Brasso hitting imperials with Maarva's death brick....I'm flooding with the imagery. I loved that final moment when Andor appeared on Luthen's ship too: the future spy master of the Rebellion has come out and is showing his chops. He's outplayed the biggest player in the game, and surprised him - this was just so good.

After rewatching the series I realized how Andor got inside Luthren's ship...he whistled the same tune Luthren did the first time they escaped. Andor showed his attention to detail. This series has already elevated the already extremely good Rogue One and enriched it.
For me, the depth of this show has made R1 the best of all the Star Wars movies. It’s incredible. The fact that the real orchestra played the Andor theme live and on camera during the funeral procession is amazing.

I never thought about how much this show elevates Rogue one, which is already a great movie.
Loved how the finale held true to the rest of the season in that it was the normal, every day people rising up against the Empire. Best Star Wars content in a generation!!
I love how the clanging of the metal in episode 3 unnerved and disquieted the guards pursuing Cassian, and now in the finale, the music of the band and the anvil in the tower does the same thing to the empire. It’s the first inkling for both enemy groups that they severely underestimated the power of people united in a common goal. In both episodes you can see the growing confusion, anxiety, and finally fear as they start to realize they are outmatched. Both in the clanging metal and in the music of the band, coordination and collaboration is necessary - as it will be for the rebellion and indeed the entire galaxy to come together and work as one. Brilliant use of in-world music!
Andor is genuinely fantastic, and while not for everyone? The sheer effort and heart poured into the perspective of the people of the Rebellion is something we needed.
I really love the worldbuilding done for Ferrix, down to their burial customs and the flow of day to day activities, things only contained within the community (like the belltower and the clanging) which alienated the Imperials there, throwing them off. Seems like a great strategy. Also I’m glad everyone who I think matters have lived to see season 2. 🎉

They absolutely nailed that Black Hawk Down or 13 Hours kind of vibe with Ferrix. From Syril's ill-fated expedition to the uprising here in the finale... they really captured the sense of desperation and being stuck in a tinderbox of hostility. And from the standpoint of the people of Ferrix they're totally outgunned and outnumbered, but get worked up into a frenzy and then, boom goes the IED and it all falls apart.

Agree, it really kicked in once they did the quick march towards destiny or altercation. It was a society slowly building and slowly building and then, BOOM, enough is enough. They made it feel like, 'this isnt the normal pace these funerals take, this ONE particular funeral is.........important' a turning point if you will. Will the people, the Daughters, the miners, the every day folk who've silently protested in their own ways, the mumbling under their breath, the scornful looks, take up this march or simply say, tmrw we fight, or next week, or when its one of our OWN family, or is today the day?

Two years is a long time, but I am fine with it and their plan for next season (it's rumored four 3-episode arcs to bring us close to Rogue One). I hope the show stays close to the ground. I don't think we need to see Fulcrum or Leia (but they could be mentioned), but I definitely think we need to see Organa and Raddus organizing. Two of the remaining major players in Rogue One. If we do see Leia, it better be as a spy so it keeps in line with, "I've traced the rebel spies to her." But I don't think we need to see her in the show, it would feel more like fan service, especially after Kenobi.
I ALMOST made it thru the whole episode until they were getting ready to take off at the end and Cassian and Bix were coming up and with such hope in his voice B2 says "Cccassian". He didn't only love Maarva but he loves her son also.😢
Andor has always surprised me, time and time again. All the talk and theories about how this episode would transpire and who was going to die, yet no one predicted all the main characters surviving. The complex build-up of grief over Maarva's death and smoldering anger toward the occupying Imperials was masterfully complimented by the focused musical score. There was so much to love: All the actors were brilliant and so many subtle emotions were so carefully portrayed. Dedra's terror of losing control in the riot and her helplessness, Syril's surprisingly cool and unfazed rescue of her was a brief but beautiful scene. Luthien's reaction to Maarva's speech and a final hint of a conscience, to his smile at the end after seeing how Cassian had 'become a believer'. The people's released rage at Maarva's funeral and Maarva's brick being used as a weapon against Imperials was poetic justice. But Cassian's transformation too; saving Bix, helping get her on the ship to escape and even his show of affection to little B2-EMO was wonderful to see. Absolutely the most mature, grounded and tightly produced SW series we've ever seen. Even the end credits scene showing how the parts the prisoners were making were joints to connect the collecting panels of the Death Star's main laser just showed how perfect this series was made. Hats off to Tony Gilroy and the great actors and crew: Very well done!

It’s scary that what they were putting together was for the Death Star, but it’s even more chilling to know it was for the laser.
In a show that's already been amazing for it's world building, the entire funeral march with the workers and marching band in their colorful regalia contrasting the neutral stone town was wonderful. I think dedra panicking is my favourite moment. It shows how human she is, being out numbered and almost dying but was saved by her stalker. Like it's generally amazing. She may be smart and evil. But a heavy object and like 10 people all grabbing you would stop most people. Also happy that all the main characters are alive for season 2
It was as close to perfection as I felt we had any reasonable right to expect. A beautiful, tragic, punishing, and moving journey. I know it's the kind of thing people say on the internet all the time, but during Maarva's eulogy...I did tear up. The writing of this show has simply been exceptional. It's so rare I feel something so strikes a chord, in me, that it hits me like that.

He's actually been driving some of us out of our gourds by playing all manner of melodic and rhythmic tricks to create unbearable tension or emotional responses. I've had to rewatch some episodes with the sound muted and subtitles on because the score and effects got me too wound up to focus on the action.
There are a handful of works that transcend their medium & exist as part of the greater collective artistic standard. S1 of Andor has become one of those works alongside seasons of Mad Men, The Wire, Breaking Bad etc... I have been a critic & journalist for years & I can confidently say the level of artistic intent & execution on display in Andor is absolutely phenomenal. As counterintuitive as it may seem, my fear is that because it exists as part of a large IP it will risk being overlooked or underappreciated.
That speech had me on the verge of tears and making me want to fight alongside them too… That’s how powerful it was. This show is the most emotionally invested I’ve been in Star Wars in a very long time. Tony and his team have truly pulled off the impossible with Andor.
Man the last, post credit scene with the camera work, music, and ton was super chilling as a final stinger. First time I've ever felt fear of the Death Star, and it's not even complete here.
What a show! I'm going to rewatch all the episodes and relive all the great moments all over again.
The end scene of the episode is one of the best in the show (the show has a lot of good scenes though). He’s lost everything he’s cared about, and with one line you know exactly where his mind is: he’s at the point where he has nothing to lose. The dynamic nature of his character was so believable in this show.
Andor was simply brilliant I loved all the episodes and the season finale I was so excited for and it gave me everything I wanted. The end credit was awesome I loved it and it made sense what was going on at the prison and what they were building. The band was awesome as well. Until season 2
Definitely my favorite Starwars series from the Disney Era. Can't wait for season 2
I’d didn’t expect Andor to be this good when I first watched it. I thought it would be a spy thriller and watch Andor rise up through the Rebel ranks. Instead I got some of the best writing and acting in SW I’ve seen in awhile. I cared for every side character and new character, I didn’t know where the new arc would take me, and I wasn’t expecting any of these feelings for Andor. I hope more people give this show a chance and I can’t wait for the second season
I’ve absolutely adored this show. This is what a war series (that isn’t even necessarily science fiction) should be like. My one critique of the finale is that it left too much hanging for a second season without actually concluding anything. But it makes me think of Winston Churchills words. “This is not the end, not even the beginning of the end, but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning”. Tony Gilroy and his team have done a marvellous job, can’t wait for season 2.
The Perin gambling scene was brilliant. I didn’t realize she had been lying until the scene was practically over, just showing how good the character is being acted out on screen
What an amazing series; this show exceeded my expectations. If, for some reason, we don’t get another season, I’ll be grateful for what we did get. This show has been a masterclass in writing and directing. I hope more people get a chance to enjoy this show.

I was just thinking that. Even if season 2 never happens I think they gave us truly memorable characters, awesome dialogue, and expanded the galaxy. I have so much more appreciation for all the unnamed, regular folks who fought in the background and never got recognized as heroes. If nothing else, Andor has given us their perspectives and I don’t think anyone who watches the show will ever see the rebellion in a reductive way ever again.
I fully understand Gilroy’s unwillingness to do 5 seasons. 14 years of his life spending on this is excessive, but damn am I sad. This could have been the absolute best piece of Star Wars since the OT and be the flagship show for years. Now it will just be the former :)

For all the faith I have Gilroy and his crew, there is no denying that the longer a show goes on, the higher the chances get that the writers will run out of ideas and the quality will suffer. I would’ve loved to have 5 seasons but I think 2 will perfectly suffice. With all the content and quality that was packed into season 1, I’d be content if this was it (independent of the fact that there are loose ends and we haven’t reached R1 yet).
This episode was a bit slow at first, but it swelled up perfectly to an amazing crescendo, and overall it was really good in my opinion. It felt like a perfect ending to the season, left me wanting more but also wrapped up the main plot points very well. Im very excited to see what they do in season two
I thought it made perfect sense that Andor was waiting for Luthen on his ship. Cass knew where the shipped was parked back in Episode 3. Love your channel!

I always wondered how Andor got aboard the ship...then I rewatched the series and saw the moment Lythren whistled a tune that opened the ship and prepped it for blast off during their first escape. Evidently Andor was paying attention...a pre-requisite for being a spy.😊
I was quite literally shaking in anticipation during the funeral March because it was clear everything was about to blow and yet we had no clue how it was about to go down. Such a phenomenal episode and phenomenal series so far.

I was amazed. Lucien could only kill Andor if it looked like the Empire did it. Andor as a would-be-Martyr is an asset to the rebellion, a total folk hero was created during her funeral.
I interpreted Luthen’s scene of self reflection differently. I think he knew he helped inspired the rebellion that took place on Ferrix because he said he knew the heist on Aldhani would bring about further oppression by the Empire which would breed rebellion. And remember Aldhani was the moment that inspired Maarva to take up arms against the Empire. I think Luthen in this moment of self reflection really realized the blood he had on his hands. Similar to Palpatine, he’s always been a character who operates from the shadows who rarely gets his hands directly dirty. He wants revenge for some wrong the Empire caused him, and he’s willing to sacrifice everything for it. In this moment though, by experiencing firsthand all the death his actions caused, he realized there are ways in which he’s no different than the Empire. Through the ends justify the means moral framework he’s adopted for the cause, he sees that in some ways he simply can’t distinguish himself from the evil of the Empire. I think he genuinely questioned the cause for a second during this moment. However, he is by this point to far gone and committed to the cause that there’s no going back for him. Either way, I can see it the way you do.

I think Luthen was rather humbled. He was probably feeling a lot of conflict and second-guessing his decisions considering that his primary reason for letting Kreegyr walk into the trap (to fool the empire into thinking they're safe) was based on an obsolete view of the situation. Rebellions are breaking out spontaneously, the Empire will know its not safe. People are rising up and leaders are emerging independent of his machinations. Luthen's desire to control the situation (which lead to Kreegyr's death and nearly Andor's as well) has shown its waning relevance and moral weakness. That makes his job harder, but he's also probably really inspired and hopefull seeing how powerful the urge to stand up has grown. I had the sense he was already second-guessing his decision to kill Andor and rethinking his approach before their encounter in the ship. Vel Sartha's overall unease with things was more than just someone losing their nerve, it was an empathic character sensing that there's a fundamental problem with their overarching philosophical approach to things - an approach that would willingly discard the lives of loyal allies. There's an interesting parallel for Luthen with Syril who's whole character arc is set in motion by refusing to ignore the deaths of his fellow security force officers.

I fell in love with the music in this last episode. So well composed and performed. It really turned everything I was experiencing more intense. Beautiful episode and amazing season
Great review, Thor! Must say, B2 continues to break my heart - there are lots of lovable droids in SW, but none as perfectly portrayed as him. His vulnerability and sensitivity is almost painful. Such good writing.
I hope it’s not already a foregone conclusion that the show will only have two seasons. If they have the stories to tell, which I think they do, then I’d love to see them. I think Tony Gilroy and the other writers were originally planning on 5 seasons. Regardless, this is my favorite show Disney has done since they’ve had Star Wars.
dude Maarva's speech brought tears to my eyes and gave me goosebumps. It was just BEAUTIFUL. the passion, the sense of community, and the way you can FEEL the empire's fear as she continues speaking is all PERFECTION. the fight where the community of ferrix rises up against the imperials was amazing! also, I love Syrill's development where, even while being an imperial, he risked his life to stop that grenade and managed to save Dedra. Who may I say, had such an interesting character moment of just pure panic when she's been stone cold this whole time! really brings out the fragile humanity of the empire. also, poor bix T_T her trauma is portrayed so well! Brasso is one of my favs now and im rlly glad he made it out alive! also of course, Cassian's developement is top notch!
I am just so happy for Cereal.
I love that you pointed out Luthen's, call it disappointment, witnessing the events of Ferrix. My immediate thought watching Luthen's facial expression was one of almost bitterness or resentment that he wouldn't "get credit" for starting the rebellion.
Thanks for convincing me to come back and give this a second chance after the first few slow episodes. It's really been fantastic.
The writing of this series, and this episode exemplifies it, is well beyond Disney Star Wars and a lot of modern TV. Maarva's speech was emotional and impactful but also illustrated the achievement of these writers. Without a crazy exposition dump, just through her words to an already initiated people, we learn enough about their funerary practices to be moved by what she's saying about being "raised up." You can feel it when she's speaks of her first funeral from her memory and the through the progression of her life marked by other funerals. So when she gets to the end of that progression of life and she's talking about her rising them up, you know, without knowing/being told, what it feels like being a part of this community. Over the course of the season we have learned bits about Ferrix, and other characters and locations, i.e. Aldani and it's native people and culture, but I've never felt like I was being fed and exposition sandwich. Of course it's not all just the writing Fiona Shaw and the other actors are hitting it out of the park but they have great material from which to work.
Couldn't agree with you more when you said at the end of this review, "This was absolutely one of the best things 'Star Wars' we will ever see". It was an absolutely fantastic episode and capped off a brilliant series. So refreshing and unexpected to get something so amazing out of a modern Disney Star Wars series. Hats off to everyone involved in the production - you did an outstanding job. Yes, it's a real shame the show hasn't got the huge following and financial return it deserves, but it's a tremendous work of art regardless. Thanks for making me a big fan of Star Wars again and getting value out my Disney + subscription.
Andor is now my favorite TV show of all time. It is so cathartic to watch such amazing and perfect show after that absolute bull crap that was BOBF and Kenobi. Andor has set a new standard for how amazing Star Wars can and should be and is a great reminder as to why I love Star Wars. Super hyped for season 2.

Definitely want these writers for a KOTOR series if ever.
Andor, truly amazing. My favorite Star Wars Live Action TV series. Everything about this series was great. I could write a really long comment but everyone else is saying what I would say anyways. I'll leave it with this, my favorite scene was with Andor and Melshi on the beach. Such a well acted scene with incredible music, also I love how the beach that was bright and full of people when Andor was there at first, to being empty and more depressing after Andor has escaped the prison. Shows how Andor changed between his experiences, and goes with the old saying: "You can never truly go home again." Fantastic series
Andor did for minor charcters like Brasso & Cinta what RoP couldn't or wouldn't do for it's MAIN characters - treated them with respect and maturity.
Besides my skill issue at learning the complicated names of characters, this was a perfect show. Incredible.
The band playing as the crowd marched to the funeral gave me chills. So well done
Its just unbelievable how good this show is. Its just pure character driven. U know its a good show when u like the empire as equally as the rebels.
I want a spin-off series of just Brasso on the run from the Imperials, hopping from world to world just being a good dude who helps the innocent as he goes. Usually just odd-jobs, sometimes just a big shoulder to lean/cry on with some truly caring advice for whoever needs it, and once in a while it means knocking some pirate/bounty-hunter/Imperial heads. All the characters are great (even the ones we hate), but Brasso is my personal favorite. The guy is just a truly good person...through and through, but he's not squeamish about having to throw down when there's no other way...and when he does, he's a goddamned beast. He's also both extremely intelligent and intuitive. I could honestly watch season after season of him just jaunting across worlds we've never seen, helping human and alien alike as they all struggle in the galaxy.
Indeed. I just can't get enough of this show. I've watched every episode three times. It's exactly the Star Wars 50 year old me needed.
I love how thorough you are with your analysis and thoughts! You keep things concise but are very thorough on your coverage😊
Thank you @Thor Skywalker! I appreciate you taking the time to create and share this great vid& concur w/you 100% Andor is top notch! I'm commenting because I love when you said, "...like a shallow season scraped over too many episodes." [*chef kiss!] Absolute perfection!!!
Dedra told those guys "no snipers" she wanted Andor alive. I think that is why the soldiers did not shoot until that crazy officer told them to. I want to see how Dedra (who I am guessing was the commanding officer there) handles him in the future.
Just wanna say a big thanks! I really enjoyed you and Naboo’s coverage of this show
As you say in the end, you can keep going about it on and on. That's a clear sign of the greatness of this show. It is so intricate, detailed, well-woven, referential to other SW and self-referential that it simply invites talk. Absolute A+++.
The finale was so beautiful. Your commentary and a lot of the comments on this video made me realize things I hadn’t even noticed before - so thanks everyone for helping me better understand how brilliant this amazing show is!
15:53 I don't agree, this soundtrack is actually magnificient, and I listen to it every week on spotify after wathcing a episode, Nicholas Britell did a fantastic job with it and I hope he's gonna be back for season 2 ! I'm just waiting for the thrid album to come out on spotify.
The finale did a great job tying things together and setting us up for season two. The music has been one of many high points for me. I’m looking forward to buying the soundtrack and plan to blast it as much as John Williams’ score :-)
10:51 I normally don't give much attention to wardrobe but throughout the season Mon Mothma's wardrobe was marvelous.
Great video Thor, I’m also looking forward to any further deep-dives into characters or parts of the plot you might do (if you plan on doing them, of course). Your video on the different kinds of sacrifices three characters made in episode 10 was excellent and I would love to see more like that.
What a great final to a fantastic series. I hoped everyone would survive to fight another day. It is so well done, the acting, writing and directing is fantastic. I also feel it's sad that so many misses out on this one. One idea that popped up the other day Can Luthen be Lor San Tekka? He might need to change identity after what his done. I just hope Luthen survives and becomes a part of the hole rebelion. Together with is team
Thank you my guy Thor Skywalker. I've been dealing with many issues lately, but following this show along with you, and always hearing your smart thoughts were giving me comfort.
Thor: you will not listen andor music at home Me: Niamos theme 10h please
Andor: Star Wars for smart people. What an absolutely amazing show.
Great coverage for this series Thor! I've really enjoyed your coverage/insights for the show. It's just a shame I don't see many others talking about it.
I was really surprised there weren't more casualties among the main characters on Ferrix. Obviously, Cassian was going to survive and I figured Luthen would as well because he would be the one to bring Cassian into the Rebellion. I figured that a few of the others would be goners though. While still very good, I thought the episode should have kicked the action into high gear sooner. It also felt a little odd for a season finale. In some respects, it felt more like part of an arc that wasn't complete yet so we have to wait for the next season to see the final episode of the arc. It's going to going to be a long wait for season 2.
Hammer Bro definitely had the best kill of the season. A great season, well done, I'll be watching it again.
DJ Hammers kicking that stormtrooper out of his tower was a nice moment as was seeing Dedra getting knocked down off her smug high horse. Nice review, Thor, your channel is worth the watch. For a modern parallel, this is why you don't turn in your cordless hole punchers to tyrants.
I like that Maarva died off screen....it parallels for the audience how Andor felt him not being there at her end. That speech though, with everything else, was so emotional and incredible. Loved this series.
I'm glad you enjoyed it Thor, but this finale was a complete miss for me. I couldn't wait for it to be over mostly because the finale marginalized the role of most of the main characters to focus on random background characters I felt nothing for.
This was arguably my favorite piece of Star Wars media ever. Just speechless.
I feel Maarva’s whole speech about the shadow of tyranny at the center of the Galaxy rusting and rotting away everything it touches is the perfect analogy for what the Emperor really is.
The process of creating more resistance while trying stamp it out is sometimes called “Accidental Guerrilla Syndrome.”
Though the series very much bored me to death and I had a really hard time staying motivated to tune in every week, , this episode was the effing bomb. It moved along, kept my interest, had great action and several ongoing sequences came to a close. If the whole series had the FEEL AND PACE of this finale, Andor woulda been much more popular. I reeeeeeally hope Season 2 continues this pace.
So here is my personal metric: I saw ANH in the 70s. I dont post on the internet about TV. I don't take screen caps and videos and makes gifs or movies and post them on Reddit. I don't watch episodes multiple times. I don't post on KZread very much or wait for recaps. But Andor changed all that. To me, that is an objective way to tell that it is fantastic. And out of all the YTs out there you folks have done an insightful and level headed job and I look forward to your videos and here I am posting on your channel. So kudos to you. I'm glad SW finally grew up with me.
