I love the fake awake pencil from Tarte. I can confirm that the other one is as good as the white.

This is my ASMR...lol! I don't why these long palette review videos make me soooo happy, but they do. I watched last year's 2 hour declutter video 3 times (get a life, right?) Thank you!

Agree about the Siren Sunset palette (though I'm still buying it come Black Friday. LOL). Though I'd go a step further and say that at this point, unless it's an all neutral palette, no eye shadow palettes need to include any shade of brown for the next five years. I've already got all the taupe and dark brown shades I need, since every brand feels the need to throw them in, no matter the color story.

Amen! I own one 5-pan full on neutral palette the rest is from my colourful palettes which means I have enough neutrals to last me my whole life. Sometimes I’m glad for neutral when it makes sense like in BH Passion in Paris where I can use neutral to blendy burgundy shade but thats like exception when it comes to neutrals in colourful palettes.

Great to see your beautiful face today, Angelica! I’ve used the Tarte Fake Awake Eyeliner in the beige color for years. I always use it for work, whether I am just wearing concealer and mascara or full makeup. When I go somewhere on weekends or at night, I like a color in my waterline, but for work, I need all the help I can get to look alert and well rested. I’ve tried cheaper beige eyeliners, but the Tarte stays in my waterline the longest despite my allergies.

Yep I feel you on the make up for ever lip artist pencils! That's exactly what I thought when using them anywhere except lips. They go on great as lip liners but I do find them drying after an hour on and not even the most long lasting, but I do have dry lips.

Hey angie, just wondering, would you consider doing a pre black friday video where you talk about who will be having sales and when? That would be so fantastic to have one source for all the dates. I've been trying to keep up with the dates as they are released but some brands are either waiting til the last minute to announce or they're just not doing any sales (?)

For pastels I find myself reaching for Garden of Juvia by Juvia's place. I really like it. I also do love the Lost in Los Angeles as well. And so inexpensive! I also LOOOOVE the Moira highlighters. I ordered one & loved it so I ordered the rest. The cost is so doable. I got #1 Dreamlite.

I’m really enjoying the Scentbird subscription. Each month is a pleasant surprise. One of my favorite palettes this year is the Nomad Ghost Town. I’ve reached for it more than any other.

I MUST commend you, your transitions are smooth! I am listening at work, and I glanced over when you spoke about the Elemental palettes, and I saw it transition from the blue to the purple swatches...and I thought like all the colors were a duo chrome until I watched again! 😆😅

I would really love it if you could do a tutorial on choosing eyeshadow brushes. Like….with this texture of shadow in this placement I choose a flat brush that is fluffy like the Singe # then show what that brush is shaped like. It is especially good for mattes/multichromes/metallics like in .. palettes (brand/formula). I always am kinda hit and miss and would love to learn more theory about what to choose.

Angiiie! I never get to see your videos as SOON as you post them, but today's a slow day at work and I got to this one really early. Our makeup styles and tastes are polar opposites, except for face products. You have the same type of skin that I have and I love all the foundation and powder products you recommend. I love, love, love seeing your looks and hearing your opinions though, because you're just so much fun and so knowledgeable and talented. Keep doing what you're doing, I love you to pieces (not in a weird way! Lol) Have a great week sweety!

Really enjoyed the ranking! And appreciate your honest opinion so can make good buying choices. I use the mattes from Viseart or Blend Bunny with my Adept palettes. Unearthly does amazing eye shadow palettes.

Angie, I absolutely love what's on your lip. Who are you wearing?

Ah thanks a million for recommendations. A tip for those who have make-up forever pencils and are not sure how else to use them up. These pencils can also be used as a "cream" bronser or a "cream" blush. The best result is when you put a pigment on your hand (pack it in) and then use a denser brush to put it on your skin or a dry sponge. I wouldn't recommend going directly on the skin as they are not soft enough to be easily blended directly, but with this trick they work great.

I LOVE this video! I love watching ranking videos! It's like a sports game for me... I talk into the screen! 😅😂😂 Why is this rated so low? Noooooo! This is top 5! And then I laugh... I'll see something higher ranked and I'm like, oh that's trash, not for me. Why is it ranked so high. For Me, that's fun. It's fun to see the different preferences. And that thing I love are not good to others, and things I think were awful, others love. I like that makeup has such a wide variety that there really is something for everyone. And hearing the reasons for liking or disliking is helpful. Because again, preferences. Great video!!!

I agree 100% about Makeup Forever sticks. But, Makeup Forever Aquaresist Eyeliners are fantastic! The Basic Witch palette is chef’s kiss 😘 Bella Beaute Bar has really surprised me. They are my new favorite brand.

You mentioned that the applicator on the Haus Labs concealer feels like you could easily break it… yeah, I totally broke mine. It’s wedged in the opening of the bottle and I can’t use it. 😢 But, I love it so I’m going to be replacing it for sure.

Honestly - any plastic packaging feels so... 90s to me. That's how my first make up bought on a neighboring market looked like... I don't understand how people think plastic = luxury - it's cheap and crappy, yes even the "heavy" one. And it will end up in a garbage field in 6 yeas tops... So - bad for the planet... And it does not have to be - you can do beautiful, lux packaging out of high quality cupboard, glass or even go full on metal - all recyclable and pretty. I'll forgive some cheap lip products, they do need to cut costs and hold oils/liquids, but honestly if the brand can avoid it - they should.

I am taking a break from Unearthly because I bought a grab box in April and it never shipped, even after Customer Service told me in September that my order had been expedited. It happens sometimes, but that made me rethink how much makeup I was buying from them.

Challenge bc you don't like grey palettes, but it would be cool to see your top 5-10 grey palettes that you think are better than the Xenon palette. I have it and I love it, but I'd love to see what interesting options are out there.

There is just something drawing me into the ELEMENT 115 Adept Cosmetics pallet like never before. I own the first three pallets from them then stopped bc I felt I had enough special shades with those. But this one, I have all alerts and alarms set and ready to go. With two reminders and a freaking Home Page countdown. Moneys are secured and I’m just waiting patiently. Tomorrow tho, I will attempt to purchase two pallets from Cosmic Beauty before they sell out. They too have alarms set and money secured. 😂 Fingers crossed they don’t sell out before I can get them. I’m pumped for all the new colors that are coming. If I could afford anymore I would definitely get the Ensley Reign Twisted Tea Party pallet. But I had to chose between the two and I can get two for the price of one so I went with the two. Plus I’ve never tried either brands. I’m excited for the next year and what’s to come from all these awesome indi-brands.

Still want that ensley rain palette lol. I’m gonna have to get it eventually.
