Honestly this song just reminds me of finding yourself and who you are. Asking yourself what do you stand for and wondering how everyone else is finding themselves as well. Just being aware of that too. I also think it's about how when you get your dream career or if you are living your dream, the sacrifices you have to take to get there. This includes leaving friends and family, selling things, etc. Living your dream life requires a bunch of trade off decisions and sometimes, you fear that you'll regret some of your actions. You meet some great people while living your dream though and you're living it with them. So yeah that's just my perspective.

I miss this band so much already! Nate Ruess was such a great lead singer! I know he's solo now but I wish they were still "Fun". He has such a unique and great voice😀

I remembered them, even If I didn't want to. It's called the torture of singing it for guitar classes -.o for legit GRADES. Tbh, the only grade I feel like I actually deserved to pass was my guitar elective 😂

My choir got to vote for a song. I forgot what this song was. I can't believe this is what we are singing. I'm so happy. This song was one of my favorites when I was little. Thank you Choir for this.

I love the drums in this song, I played drums in a band before and ever since then I've always loved drums

Most of my best memories from my childhood are just me in the car with my family and this song playing. It hits different

This was my big brothers favourite song,we would listen to it together and sing out loud and do crazy dances. he was my only big brother,we had such a great bond. he died during my final grade 10 exams, he was grade 11 when he died. It's been 6 years now and i miss him so much. im 22 now and still miss him like i lost him yesterday.

I was looking for this song but I forgot the lyrics and the name so I searched up what I thought I remembered yet it wasnt even part of the song and I got what I was looking for. SCORE 👏👏👁👅👁

I honestly thought the words were “some nights I wish to be someone else” not “some nights I wish that this all would end” and I have been listening to this forever!

What a magnificent song. The words, the arrangement the vocals. In an age of mundane forgettable music this song made me sit up and pay attention time and again. (I put it on repeat) Well done

yup i might only be 12 1/2 but this was my early childhood and i feel like around this time was when music was actually good now its just random piano keys chopped together. i do like some of our music now but it just doesnt feel right. it almost makes me sad listening to songs like this and having such good memories and i know now that those days will forever be over and i just miss em man
