Some babies hate Tummy Time
We had his one month check up the day before and our doctor Erin Johnson at The Pediatric Center in Richmond, VA recommended that we spend 5 minutes 3 times a day doing “tummy time.” It’s supposed to help strengthen his neck. This was Abby’s and my first attempt at getting him to do tummy time.

We loved it. From what we've seen lately, his legs are SUPER strong. We'll see how soon he puts it all together. Thanks for your comment.

He doesn't like the *blanket* for his workouts it seems. By the way; how old was he at this time of the video's filming?

Their fine. Their crying and fussing bc its hard work and they dont like it! But its good for them! Leave them be! This is how they figure out how to hold their head up, roll over, upper body strength, and so much more! Dad needed to leave that baby alone!

@marylyn66 yeah, as a new parent I was just excited. I can see how that could be looked it as being inappropriate. He’s 5 now.

You can’t be serious? So ok from this video you can tell he’s colic? This is how ALL babies react to tummy time. They don’t like it. It’s rare if a baby does, because they are literally working out all their muscles.. it’s a lot of work for a baby.

He is not in pain. It's normal for babies to fuss and cry with tummy time
You spoiled him already stop picking him up
