Somalia is a failed state while Somaliland is the number 1 democratic country in Africa even better then South Africa. This deal will go forward and no boday can stop it. Over the past 32 years, neither the President nor the Prime Minister of Somalia, along with other ministers, has ventured into Somaliland. This is primarily because they were well aware that the Somaliland government would not permit their entry. As these leaders shed insincere tears today, it's noteworthy that Somalilanders welcome the recent deal, considering it a mutually beneficial, win-win project. Somaliland has now achieved what it had unsuccessfully sought during the era of brotherhood with Somalia. The agreement entails Ethiopia establishing a military base, utilizing the naval base leased by Somaliland Republic of June 26, 1960, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Federal government. Plans are underway to connect Berbera Port in Somaliland to Ethiopia via a train network, with potential extensions reaching West Africa and South Africa in the future. Recognizing Africa's abundant natural resources, including natural gas, crude oil, minerals, gold, and agricultural products, it's crucial to address the challenge of limited access to ports connected by trains, particularly towards East Asia. Somaliland aspires to play a pivotal role in driving economic growth and development across Africa. The transformation of its shores into ports, oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, and trade zones will facilitate the global supply of iron ore, aluminum ore, crude oil, and various other commodities. It is imperative for every African to embrace this initiative, disregarding any negative rhetoric from the struggling Somali regime. As Somaliland makes positive strides, it's plausible that Somalia may eventually seek assistance and job opportunities from its flourishing neighbor.

This deal is completely an acceptable , giving away a costal area to another county is a treason or criminal act and must be opposed.

This agreement may sound good at first glance, but in the long run it will mean nothing but a big problem for Ethiopia. Ethiopia is already in a civil war. If small states declare independence from Ethiopia after a while, it will be a good excuse for Somalia and Egypt. Moreover, you should realize that by making this agreement, you have earned the eternal hostility of Somalia and its people.

It is a great news for Ethiopia that we got the sea gate and port from Somaliland on the principle of giving and receiving. Somaliland has been separated from Somalia. For the past 33 years, it has been a defacto-ruled country with its own flag, its own army, its own passport, its own currency, and democratic elections. Turkey, Taiwan, Norway, Belgium, UAE, Kenya, Djibouti and other countries have recognized Somaliland as a sovereign country, and Ethiopia has recently recognized it. Taiwan, Norway, Belgium, Turkey, UAE, Kenya, Djibouti have opened their embassies in Hargeisa, and since it is a country that has opened an embassy in Ethiopia, it can enforce its own rights. Neither Somalia nor Egypt nor other countries can not interfere in the decision of Somaliland.

Over the past 32 years, neither the President nor the Prime Minister of Somalia, along with other ministers, has ventured into Somaliland. This is primarily because they were well aware that the Somaliland government would not permit their entry. As these leaders shed insincere tears today, it's noteworthy that Somalilanders welcome the recent deal, considering it a mutually beneficial, win-win project. Somaliland has now achieved what it had unsuccessfully sought during the era of brotherhood with Somalia. The agreement entails Ethiopia establishing a military base, utilizing the naval base leased by Somaliland Republic of June 26, 1960, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Federal government. Plans are underway to connect Berbera Port in Somaliland to Ethiopia via a train network, with potential extensions reaching West Africa and South Africa in the future. Recognizing Africa's abundant natural resources, including natural gas, crude oil, minerals, gold, and agricultural products, it's crucial to address the challenge of limited access to ports connected by trains, particularly towards East Asia. Somaliland aspires to play a pivotal role in driving economic growth and development across Africa. The transformation of its shores into ports, oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, and trade zones will facilitate the global supply of iron ore, aluminum ore, crude oil, and various other commodities. It is imperative for every African to embrace this initiative, disregarding any negative rhetoric from the struggling Somali regime. As Somaliland makes positive strides, it's plausible that Somalia may eventually seek assistance and job opportunities from its flourishing neighbor.

PLEASE LET'S DISTINGUISHED POLITICS FROM THE NATIONAL OR THE CONTINENTAL INTEREST.? This agreement between the government of Ethiopia and Somaliland is not a political need and desire, but a national historical and public decision, even though it was signed by the two leaders. The biggest problem in Africa is that the people cannot separate politics from the national interest of the country. Politics and governments change, but people and countries remain intact. It is very strange, ironic that the security of Somalia is protected by the Ethiopian Defense Forces, but Somalia is against Ethiopia's national interest. Over the years, the Ethiopian government has diplomatically asked neighboring African countries to use the Red Sea and Gulf ports, but all of them have refused except Somaliland. So Somaliland together with the Ethiopian government have made the right decision to develop and use ports, why are Africans trying to grow economically, but they are fighting each other? All African countries should be one Africa, not just East Africa "Pan-Africanism" activists and African media. If not, bloodthirsty and death merchants will ruin Africa's existence. Western countries are ready to control Africans through modern colonialism. Not by direct or indirect colonialism as before, but by our own modern colonial system of mainstream media and social media.

Federal Republic of SOMALIA is sovereign nation must be respected no can take one INCH of federal republic of SOMALIA whether land,sea or air those who try will end up failure if you know SOMALI history. Somaliland has rejected Somalia failed country and has been Independent from it since 18 May 1991 following the genocide against its people and subsequent civil war which saw the country have no functioning government for decades till 2017 purposed federalisation by international community which Somaliland rejected to be part of as it is a separate country.

Ethiopia and Kenya consists different ethnic groups with different religions, languages , cultures. But they are united dividing Somali , which have same religion, culture and language into different regional independent regions to weaken the central Somalia unity government , with policy divide and rule , to control their land and coastal waters. They are part of Non-aligned movement , IGAD, African Union , what a false principles and betrayals.

Somalia's 1954 constitution thT has gone through 10 incarnation was drafted prior to any union between Somaliland and Somalia, moreover somalia's constitution has never been approved and is invalid even in Somalia. Where as Somaliland's constitution has been approved by popular democratic vote. Somalia is an impotent failed state unable to defend its own sovereignty from terrorists.
