There is a way to combat this: Practice. Make it habit of practicing the old material, even if it is fo ra mere 10-20 per week.

Same, sometimes when studying, I try super long and hard, but I can’t get it, and accept that, finish the quiz, then move into the next lesson prepared for what’s next

It is E=T_1-(T_1/T_2), u multiply all sides by T_2 to eliminate the fraction, it will then be equal to T_2E=T_1*T_2-T_1. Then take out the common factor T_2E=T_1(T_2-1). Then finally divide both sides by T_2-1. So the final answer will be T_1= T_2E/T_2-1
