Worked for me. Gave my son my old PC that a storm killed the PSU, shortly after chrome starts force closing everytime you open. This worked for me for now!

I don't really recommend this tutorial if you're trying to fix your Chrome, I tried it on my Chrome and it worked for 10 seconds and never worked again. Seeing from other people's experiences, this doesn't work, this video might be outdated, try at your own risk.

Thank you! This solved my problem with getting Chrome to open. Spent hours following other directions and came upon this and it worked!

Mine says chrome.exe... no option like yours. And chrome keeps freezing several times a day

This method not work on my chrome.. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall it but still keeps on crashing.. it was automatically keeps closing.. i tried to rename it on my Windows 10 but still there's no option for me to open the chrome again 😭😔
