I'm a Sierra Leonean and 2014 was the most difficult year in my life. I had to flee the troubles and unwillingly left for another country. Before I could leave a friend gave me a CD and this was the first song. I ended up in a Muslim dominated land. I played this song every morning till everyone in the house fell in love with it. May 17th, 2021. The day my mom passed on. I listened to this song on repeat mode during the mourning period. Nothing made sense, I was just in my own world. I couldn't even cry. The song still reminds me of my moms death but at least it gives me strength.
