SOLO

From the Canadian Rockies to the Atlas Mountains - SOLO explores 6 continents and takes #TeamMontane athlete Jenny Tough on an epic challenge spanning several years. Jenny’s mission was to run across some of the world’s most remote mountain ranges, by foot, by herself, unsupported, and solo. Along the way, she takes on a powerful journey of self-discovery and personal growth. This is the ultimate film for those looking to broaden their horizons in 2024, and for those feeling really inspired, take a look at montane.com/blogs/blog/solo-a...

You nailed it! Diet and image has just spread to all genders now, rather than improve or go away. Sadly. And it affects us all, even perceived achievements. Social media helps and hinders. But lets just say person to person, in all of your perceived iterations or images of yourself you are beautiful, inspiring, admirable and incredible. Pinch yourself and look at what you have accomplished. It inspires us all. Hopefully we can all respect you and your accomplished friends as human adventurers, no judging or assessment of physicality, just deep, heartfelt respect! ❤

I had no idea who Jenny is, or indeed what she had achieved until an email from Montane gave me some alternative viewing options. I am truly awestruck. Jenny is an incredible, resilient, determined person and I hope that many others take massive inspiration from her and are encouraged to follow their own path in life, whatever that may be.

An inspiring and touching film about Jenny. I've followed her exploits since the beginning and it's sad to hear about her struggles behind the scenes, however it's nice to hear she is working on putting that behind her and her continuing positive outlook on life.

There is a great tale of good here, and I applaud her efforts to see her limits, and to see what she’s capable of this is something I believe, profits all of us. And it was also good to see talk that too much extreme activity is actually not healthy at all, but actually can cause great of destruction, which can be permanent, I believe that some of both of these things happen here. I hope that she learns both of these things. In someways watching this as a psychologist and having been a professional athlete, I understand full well and I have seen people go too far because it’s about other things that they’re not even aware of beyond the things that there’s all saying, there are things to be cautious about here in this video this can be advertising for people doing things which are self-destructive, and which do not help them be their ultimate selves. Be careful all watch this both of these things are present here.

Its a shame really that she got reduced down to beeing a women. Basically saying "Its awesome that you did this as a women" no its just plain awesome. It discredits her as a person and her efforts. Quite the contrary of what this video should be about.

You may need to be "hard on yourself" in some sense, but being *down* on yourself is purely self-defeating. Nobody *needs* negative self-talk. I know it's easier said than done to change that behavior, just hate to see it rationalized.
