Beautiful Crystal! I have so enjoyed being part of your pilgrimage. A friend sent me this prayer for people who pilgrimage to St. Chad's Well in England and I thought I would share it as it is really for all pilgrims. I don't ask the path be always straight or easy, or the weather always kind. I ask that I have the stamina to see the journey through, to the place, that one day, I know, I must stop. I ask to have the discipline to keep to the path that I have chosen, not beguiled by the footpaths that may or (may not) be short cuts. I ask to remain mindful that the unfamiliar place through which I pass are home to people and animals who live there, and abodes of devas and nature spirits. They deserve my interest for themselves as well as my appreciation and respect for what they provide. I ask also to be reminded the there is joy in JOurneY, and that there always was, and it is for me to find it myself and keep it alive for another generation. Please help me.

Thank you! And yes - Camino Ninja. It took me a moment to get used to the app but you put in your route (Camino Frances) and then your start and stop point for the day. You see distance, elevation gain/loss, and also have access to an app where you see a red line. You will be a dot on that line or, if not, you see where you are instead. It won’t direct you back to where you need to be but you can usually self navigate REALLY easily. Generally it’s very difficult to get lost unless you are in a big city and your accommodation is off the trail. My biggest fear was getting lost as I’m terrible at directions and I didn’t get lost once so you totally got this!

Perhaps you didn't realise that most of the camino walkers do the last 100km, which is at least 7 to 1 compared to the ones that start in Saint Jean-Pied de Port. Locals may be a little more indiferent or even sometimes look annoyed. Still the scenery and landscapes are more enjoyable that those long flat pathways in Castilla Leon.

I enjoy your videos and drone footage, but it’s worth emphasizing that your Camino experiences are very different from somebody who is not vegan, is not carrying extra baggage that requires luggage service. Of course, everybody does their own Camino, and you are presenting yours… but again, much of what you’re experiencing is very different. Enjoying the local cuisine is a big part of the culture and experience, and that cuisine includes lots of meat and fish. Depending on how good your Spanish is, there’s also great opportunities to meet locals and go bar hopping for tapas. There’s also a richness of culture and history along the way, much of which is only in Spanish unless you google spots. In future videos, I suggest you focus on strengths you have regarding drone footage and scenic areas and devote less attention to gripes and struggles you have as a vegan in a meat eating culture.

( When I can ) I am going to act upon that fire you have lit beneath my feet, and in my belly and somewhere around my cushionesque ass. I'll do the Camino Veselay and Camino Frances as one, singular Camino walk. What you taught me feminine Yoda is that it is perfectly fine to ignore times and schedules. And I now know that - as far as food is concerned - I can use cafes and local stores; more so the stores for I'd cook as often as-is possible. I'm not a Vegan, per se. I just don't like a lot of food groups......including meat, seafood and dairies products. So massive thanks for educating me.
