I agree...NYC has something different in the air. I remember when I was there, I could feel the electrifying pulse in the city. So much fun just walking and experiencing the uniqueness of the city. Thanks so much for this fun video. Hope you didn't have any trouble going back to Seoul.

Obviously I love love your Korea vlogs too because you are showing us new places that for example I personally never visited. But this vlog was even better to me as I live in NYC and most of the places you showed I literally walked around in the past weeks with my boyfriend. It was also great to see how happy you are in the city. Often when New Yorkers get used to the gray working days we forget how great this city is. So thank you for reminding me of it. 😊

Native NYer and NYU Alum here. Never apologize for staying in the Village, East or West. I have traveled all over the world and I just keep coming back to the West Village. It's my favorite neighborhood in the City.

This vlog was a masterpiece. The music carefully edited with the visuals, and what I love most of all is how you capture experiences, not just images. The little sounds of New York and the unexpected quirky little things really touched me, because it’s the kind of thing I notice when I visit a place. Thank you for taking us along your weekend in NY ♥️

Cari, usually I have a short attention span when it comes to vlogs over 15 mins. (pathetic I know). But with the aesthetics, sounds, and food in your vlogs, I never want the video to end. I have really enjoyed your U.S. travel vlogs and hope that you return soon to visit your family. Safe travels!

I arrived in NYC 23 years ago as a young, hungry 20-something eager to take a bite out of the Big Apple and I zig-zagged around Manhattan before finally settling down in Greenwich Village/NoHo. Now I am older, a bit jaded, and about 5 years from retirement. I have pondered the thought of retiring somewhere with a slower pace, less expensive, and with better weather. But the thought of leaving all of this behind is tempting as much as it is terrifying. It's good to have a fresh perspective on this amazing city, such as yours, to remind me why I am here and why every other place would be a big disappointment for me. Thank you for that.

i went to school in the village and haven't been back in awhile, it's so lovely to see the place that used to be my home through cari's eyes 🥺

Hi Cari, glad you made it to NY, I liked the places you took us to, it seemed to be much more open than scenes we normally see on our tv screens. This is my first Cari vlog in my new home, so I feel more settled in. It has been a huge week, I can't wait till my life gets back to normal, I have however been very lucky with my choice of new home, it is so much quieter than where I used to be, i'm so grateful for that. I grew up in ny and when I travel I’ll meet people who lived there for a time, sometimes decades ago, and they describe it to me so vividly and specifically. There’s so much emotion to it and everyone feels like ny is theirs in a way but I really love how it’s something different to everyone.

I spent July 4th weekend in NYC and walked twenty miles per day! It's such a fun city to explore. I love how you captured the spirit of the place! And it's interesting seeing your day-in-Seoul style applied to Manhattan!

Just wanted to say thank you. This what i needed. So stressed. With crazy new laws in Texas. Plus trying not to drown with bills. Most have no idea that disability doesn’t pay much. I’m trying not to drown. You just help get my mind off for a bit.

Summer in New York is the best Cari! Been 4 years since I last went ❤️ my kids my partner and I walked all over the city and fell in love twice in one year. The sights, the sounds & the fact that you can be on a corner crossing the street and hear 10 different languages at once is just such a cool thing! New York is just a creatively energized city ❤️✨thanks for sharing your trip and giving us all the good New York vibes!

this was so peaceful, romantic and nostalgic idk so magical

i keep coming back to this video because it brings me such comfort. I go to school at NYU so this is eaclty the type of stuff i do when i hang out with my friends and to just see it being represented in a similar fashion by a creator that i love is so fulfilling lol.

I think you captured that New York feeling perfectly, there are some shots that gave me gossebumps and made me remember that time i went to NY when i was just a little kid!!

I lived in NYC for several years. And I funny enough I used to the apartment in the apartment right next to The Strand. Literally walked in there everyday and would get stacks of books. Its good to see the farmers market again my sister and i would go a lot and buy fresh fruit. And once a day i would walk down to the park, eat a baked potato and be with the squirrels. It was a good time in my life. It makes me happy to see the city being alive. I hope i can go back again soon, this place will always be my second home.

Always love your NY vlogs. They make want to visit the city so much!

Been putting off watching this so I can watch it during my bath in the comfort of my own apartment. My sister and I am obsessed with Lover Loser and Lovesong by TXT! I loved this blog. Makes me want to add NYC to my visit list before I become an arthritic, old, grumpy fellow.

Hoping your family made it through the hurricane safely! I can’t help but wonder how different the landscape would look today. Memories are so precious and fleeting!

Another freakin wonderful vlog. I cannot wait to be in New York this fall. I have to tell you since moving to the east coast I have experienced a variety of apples I never heard of before. My daughters favorite are honey crisps I am fond of pink lady’s. That secret park one of the lady’s I follow used to have friends who lived in that neighborhood and their kids would play together there so she video stream inside once it’s so pretty 😍. Surprisingly NY has a lot of pockets of places like this parks that are residents only that people accidentally stumble upon.

Finally I‘m watching your NYC vlog and it‘s beautiful!!! Never have been there but definitely would love to go one day!!😍

I live in NYC, but this video made me want to visit LOL. I wish I lived in lower manhattan, it’s so much more inspiring :c

Excellent video. I love movies set in NYC and watching people who really love the city talk about why they do. Yours has that warm/chill vibe where it feels like we're walking a couple steps behind or beside you, but you aren't being overtly tour-guidey if that makes sense. It's evening where I am but now I want an iced coffee and a croissant. I can almost smell those books too. One part dust, one part homework?
