It's nice to see a streamer actually excited to play the game... instead of the youngsters who just "meh" through the stream like it's something they could take or leave.

so.. Chance... I was sitting in a lousy hole that had serious penalties to heat damage and bored to death since no one from Wingspan was there to neut me this time... Lucky for me a new hole popped up to hisec. in comes a rattler and begins ratting out my sleepers (they are my livestock and required my immediate intervention). I tried to see if I could take a rattler, being HAM fitted an all, but he's tanking my cattle pretty well. I see your video, and I kinda have a feel for your fits. ... anyways I decide my ab is too slow but my active tank is 496 hp/s with 70+ in my shield resists. so what the hay, he might be smart enough to stay outta my 39km range with dreads, he might not... I warp in, decloak, throw on the point, and then as the sleepers aggro me I realize I don't have the 500 hp/s anymore, because I took the boost amp out for the distruptor. as the sleepers aggro me now, I automatically overheat everything, FAIL I burn out my My HAMs just as I get him down to about 10 % hull. well sitting ng wondering what now, he pops thanks to my sleeper cattle. a little Anathema came in out of nowhere to watch the last of the fight and scoop the loot no doubt. says "thanks for the kill man!" I write back that I am confused. he says for the Rattlesnake kill he just got. he asked why he didn't get the killmail and I said I got it. he asked me to send it to him, said he didn't know why it went to the wrong person lol a tengu can take a Rattlesnake.... if it's meta 1 HAM fitted! lol in the Oneness, Rumi Shanti

Probably because the rattle gives a bonus to drone HP, so they're tough to kill. The rattle also has extra drones it could spit out if one did die. It's basically a waste of your own DPS to try and shoot at bonused drones.

i always forget about the extra hp on rattle still think killing the drone help on lowering dps at least enough to get out

That fit sucked. He should have used a faction shield booster with a battery fit. With that he would have probably killed the rattle.
