Great play-through, thanks Grant! About card 23, which you were puzzling about, I think you either put Unrest in the Vandals' diocese OR if they are in Galatia, you just activate them normally, putting unrest/revolt according to the priorities on the map.

Instead of using a counter in the spaces for the Barbarian cards I don't see why you couldn't just deal out their 3 cards in those spaces and put them into the discard pile or a surge box as you go through them. That way no counter would be needed and you wouldn't lose track of how many more cards of theirs you need to play. No harm in seeing them all at once since you can't play until all of their cards are played first.

At 13:07 the deception card should be used to replace an enemy surge card and you put it instead of an enemy surge card (when there were none), you accelerated the next surge at 17:06 because it needed only 2 surge cards instead of 3 to trigger the surge. Wrong move.

After 1:20:16 did you skip the second attack against the Goths?
