This is why Liszt is a great composer, he's a genius when it comes thing on piano. Take this and Paganini's "La Campanella" for example, he was able to imitate the feeling of the pieces and emotions amazingly.

I feel like I have a good ear. This is certainly my favorite rendition of Beethoven's 5th on KZread. A lot of other videos are incredibly beautiful and amazingly capable, surely better pianists than myself. But! this video captures the gravitas! the nunace! the delicacy and passion of this gorgeous peace of classical music. If I am looking for Beethoven's 5th on KZread, I always return here. You are stunningly talented!

@@CaesarNeptuneStudios Good thing you are a nobody and Liszt isn't. Liszt is basically the father of modern music. Wagner, Debussy, Ravel, Bartok all of this came from Liszt in some way or another. Not to mention that he basically showed the world what the piano can really do, and how from the piano alone all the sounds of the orquestra can be heard.

I agree. In retrospect I should have overruled the video editor and not used any footage from that perspective. That was the in-house camera set incorrectly. So it is with 'live'- so many things can go wrong. And that's that…. plus I don't think I have the stamina to play the piece again, I'm getting old! ;)

7.5/10 it's a difficult piece to perfect. I'm talking about the first movement. a little bit of articulation issues, but my major take on it is the strict tempo, which should be regarded throughout the entire piece, and this is where its real beauty lies (in my humble opinion). I haven't seen a single pianist until now that was able to accomplish this. So if you were able to, you'd be one of very few people in the world who are capable of doing so. You look good and you're a good pianist as well, I hope that you continue your journey of excellence. sorry I had to add, just watched the beginning of the 2nd movement. You seem to rush into phrases as if you are in a hurry to finish the piece :) if you give the rest its entire time, it would sound more beautiful. ok, I know that I need to shut up. It's just that I see that you're almost there and I can't keep quiet lol
