I like the way you talk to the audience. It's like you know each and everyone of us. It feels like we're sitting down with at the camp. My hats off to you.

Hey Robert, thanks buddy :) it almost feels like i have you guys there with me to talk to haha
This man has done so much to showcase the fun of camping, moreso than any advertising could possibly achieve.
Kent: I loved the comment"Yes I have some ketchup, get over it" I laughed so frigging hard. Thanks for the chuckle. I enjoyed it immensely. Countryside New York USA.
The very worst part of camping is having to break camp and go home , nothing makes you recharge better than being in the woods , makes want to live there
Bluebell's remind me of my late mum. When I was a child many years ago I used to go to the bluebell wood with my mum all the time, before she passed away. She was only 25 and I was 5. I remember it very clearly. Bluebell's are my favourite flowers 🪻🪻🪻🪻🪻🪻🪻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🪻🪻🪻🪻🪻🪻🪻🪻

That's a pretty nice tent for a soldier! When I was enlisted in the US Army, we carried a "shelter - half." If you wanted a full tent, you would have to find a battle buddy and put your two halves together for a full tent. Other than that, our Squads and Platoons lugged around GP (general purpose) Small/Medium/Large tents. They typically took several people to set them up and they could get pretty heavy. When I left the US Army, I guess they started issuing one-man Combat Shelters.
I am not a camper let alone capable of bushcraft but I love your video's. So peaceful and your voice is very soothing!
Me, the wife and kids line up on the sofa when Andy posts a new vid. Best channel on YT. He's funny without knowing it. "Yes it's Ketchup, get over it". 🤣

I don't commit on every video of yours that I have watched but am extremely interested how well you talk about your day. More importantly how you talk through setting up your tents. I suffer from anxiety and deep depression, watching your videos really helps immediately with my mental health. Thanks for making your videos and posting them, means a lot to me a long I hope you continue to make then. You come across as an easy yet understandable kind of gent and that really shows in your videos in such a great positive way. I will look forward to watching more future videos. Take Care ! And happy camping days.

I suffer from bipolar depression and i also watch these camping videos. I went winter camping and slept in a kota hut with no heating in my sleeping bag and i was happiest ive been in long time. I went with a friend and we had pasta meals and roasted sausages on a stick on campfire and had cowboy Coffee and oatmeal as breakfast and peasoup as lunch.
Your woods sound so peaceful with all the birds 🐦 🐦⬛ tweeting
Buddy you have the best bushcraft show out there. Very peaceful and an extremely friendly dude…..
KL stands for: Koninklijke Landmacht ( which freely translates in Army of the kingdom ) The number is probably the buildyear yes, but not entirely sure. Greetings from a dutchman 😁

Well if you translate it literarily it's Royal Landforce. Just as we translate Koninklijke Luchtmacht to Royal Airforce (KLu) or RNLAF (Royal Netherlands Air Force) as it's known abroad.
What a beautiful woodland!
If the "zombie apocalypse" ever happens, Kent is the one I would want in charge... of feeding my men. With his food everyday, moral would be so ridiculously high, we would win the war against the dead in a matter of days. Lol. Facts

Love the leather work on those lanterns!!!! Every video
Andy, love your beautiful scenery shots. Can imagine how beautifully you capture shots in your photography. Been watching your videos for the last month. Love them all.
These videos are so well made and enjoyable. Not too many healthy things in life that I can count on to help me relax and destress on a rainy Saturday afternoon 👍🏻🙏🏻
KL means Koninklijke Landmacht (Royal Infantry) and the 94 is indeed the date. Wonderful little pup tent! Yet no Dutch beer this time? You sure like to keep us on edge don't you.
Great Videos. You seem to be a very kind and good hearted oerson. Its nice to see good people enjoying themselves. Cheers from Boston, MA.
Didn't expect anything other than great from you Andy.. love the wild ingredients.. Thanks for another peaceful watch..

Andy, Maybe a good sub-topic for one of your videos, would be to test de-odorizing products for folks who have older tents/ equipment. There are two common products here in the US for deodorizing fabrics. One of them is Lysol. I’m sure you have it in the UK or an equivalent. My Eureka Timberline, 4 person tent has served me very well since 2004. Over time, I’ve punched a few careless holes, and have fixed a few seam leaks over the past twenty years. However: She has started to smell as if an old man has been sleeping in her for a few decades. That’s when I decided to carry a spray can of Lysol (lemon scent) as part of my kit. It kills mold and mildew on the interior surfaces of the tent and it isn’t too expensive. Also, every year that I use my tent, I spray the outer surface with a silicone based water repellent spray. This tent and vestibule is as good as the day I bought it those many years ago!
Had to sub for the “Yes, ketchup. Get over it.” Your calm manner and ready smile are the perfect antidote to a stressful day!

I've been binge watching your videos the last days, it'sjust what I needed ❤. You make such relaxing videos, and I enjoy all the nature sounds. You make me smell the fire... and the bacon... I feel almost like I'm there with you. Thank you so much 😊
As kids, my brother and I used to use this kind of tent but another older model, my father brought with him back when he was in the dutch army. Horrible smell but we liked it. Always had to hear the same story how he camped in it in -17.
Another Solo Masterpiece, thanks Andy the wild garlic was a nice touch with the potato cubes, i love the way you clean-up, just like you were never there.
Your camps are so calming. I love the nature sounds..thank you for your efforts. I am 70 now and don't get down to the woods much anymore.

Same here. Age and serious health problems ended my camping. But I can enjoy it vicariously by watching YT campers like this. 😊
I remember bk in the 80's we went camping in a big orange tent which took my mum & dad hours to put up.bk then the tents were seriously basic & we'd regularly wake up in pools of water, due to condensation.how times have changed, but when your a kid things like that simply didn't bother us.'happy days'.

I see the blue bells are out behind you,a sign of a classic english woodland, brilliant video andy cheers mate.
Ha ha, it's 6am here in Perth, Western Australia, having my morning coffee, listening to the birds. I usually have creamy porridge for breakfast, but now I am craving a fat juicy steak with crispy potatoes and wild greens instead. Thanks a lot. You are camping in a beautiful spot, enjoy.

That was my tent when I was in the Dutch Army 2001 - 2011 . They got introduced somewhere in the 90s not the 80s. If you have 2 you can zip them up together as a buddy unit.

We still had the old tents in 94, so that is probably when they were introduced, around that time at least.
I watch so many videos of people camping in the woods. And it never stops amusing me that they show clips of them walking out into the woods away from the camera, knowing full well they have to walk ALL the way back to get the camera again 😂 and visa versa they show them walking towards the camera from out of the woods.
Awesome video Andy, great tent from back in the day when they used canvas. Steak and cubed potatoes with tomato sauce....my favourite....

I remember the Huge old tents for family site camping back i. 70s...they even had a little room or two in them..used to go camping a lot bCk 70s with my then fiancé..the little gas burner,we cooked some amazing breakfasts on that,it would set up for the day. We were down brighton one week camping on the side of a incline ,and there was a thunderstorm, and we could feel the rain running under the ground sheet.lol..they were the days..great fun. It’s lovely spot there andy..the flowers are beautiful..it’s still nippy tho for this time of year.

Absolutely love these tents I have 3 took my 2 boys to Scotland one year with them as I found out the hard way they are only water proof if they are pegged out properly lol great vid as usual 👌👍
I watch your videos at night when I'm in bed , find them so relaxing
It's just incredible what beauty, what atmosphere you were able to create. This is truly a meditative experience watching you. I myself started making videos about my adventures, so I'm interested in everything. Grretings from Belarus tourist.

A relaxing interesting video as always. Food looked lush. Intrigued as to next video - excited too! Woodland looks simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing 🥰
it's amazing, everything is so comfortable and relaxing
We had much simpler olive drab colored tents back in the 80's. Each soldier would carry a half of it (basically a tarp, there were no zippers or anything) and when it was time to pitch you put two halves together and share it with your buddy.. These are roughly from the second half of the 90's or later. Now on with the video :)

In my high school daze in the early 1970s, I was in the Civil Air Patrol (one step removed from the Boy Scouts 😅) and went on a camp out. We used those old musty GI Surplus shelter halves. No ground cloth, so lucky it didn't rain! But we teens had a lot of fun. 😊
YES Sir 👍 YEP, I sure love your channel. Thank you for your time and consideration 😊 yep.!!! Love it Alot.
Calming and beautiful video Andy, and I could smell the woodsmoke.....
