Showing them the basics and seeing them learn and enjoying bushcraft. I think that would be some good content.

I built a little hidey-hole when I was about 12 by re-arranging a stack of concrete blocks and putting a piece of plywood on top for a trap door. Pop made me tear it down when my little sister got hurt. You keep doing this shit and I'm going to be forced to build one for the grand kids. Just don't know which one I like the best. I went through and did a purge recently on my subscriptions. I kept Corporals Corner for one reason. He is not an elitist. Many other bushcraft you-tubers act like you need to buy the most expensive gear or most popular gear to be bushcrafters. I hate this. Most of what I learned from my father, who was in the search and rescue program as well as my time in the Army, was done with minimal gear. But these you-tubers would have you believe you need a $500 bushcraft knife or a $1000 axe to survive in the wilderness. I did it for years with a Gerber, E-tool, a poncho and 550 cord. But I love corporals corner because he is a realist and shows you can do this stuff with minimal gear and dont need to pay thousands for popular gear.

I like this idea, and used to make similar shelters and hideouts as a young girl!! And, people seem to forget that our skin is waterproof, I am aware that the cold is the real killer, hence why a decent firepit, will be an essential part of survival. I personally like to have a little more room to move about, then again, that'd be more room to heat up... So I can't fault you with this, but I am sure that the Trolls, who never leave the basements, will probably find loads to whinge about, Lol! Thanks for taking the time and trouble to make and upload your videos!! 🙂 Andrea, Jasper and George the Pigeon. XxX
