Awesome trip Josh, I've been on some of those roads myself but not in many years. Now I've got my new Husky 701 I'm keen to get out and about more. Just gotta get a few more pieces of kit for camping first. So maybe sometime this year we can do a trip together. Thanks for sharing brother 👍🤙😎🇦🇺

I would swap places with you in a flash..I would love to be able to ride all day long as I can only ride around a little island 12/37 miles and only time it gets popular with bikes is when the TT races are on. Definitely swap it for Australia any day.

Love the videos. I’m getting a DRZ400 shortly. I love watching your hot weather vids as I love the heat, but hate the cold. Just curious what kit you wear in the +35deg weather. I’m fair new to off road gear and not really sure what works best for protection, but also hot weather. Could do with some advice in that area 👌

Thanks mate I run an alpine stars bionic armour suit and a MX jersey over the top. MX pants and boots and good to go 👍🏼 You can get jackets with a heap of ventilation but they are still no good when temperatures are this hot.

@@_JoshJB_Nice info! Thanks! Yeah I’ve been looking at new jackets but they’re seemingly geared for ‘summer’ in cooler parts and feel a bit heavy going off road mid-summer. I prefer hot weather in all sense of the word, and am more likely to find myself out on a 35 degree day than I am on a 10 degree day, so I figured a lighter weight and breathable kit was possible, but not really from an off-road background on motorbikes (off road long distance cycling and trail running, mainly road motorcycling), so I’m happy to invest in the kit to stay comfortable on dirt. I’ll check those out!. Appreciate the reply and the videos. 👌

Not the comfiest or fastest but it’ll do it 😂. I’ve done multiple big km trips with it no problem. But if you are mostly wanting to be on the blacktop maybe look at something else.

🤘 what sirt of range are you getting per tank on the drz ?

350-400kms Depending on the type of riding.

On average how many kilometers a day do you ride or that your body can handle, and how much is on black top and how much dirt. I ride my DRZ in canada and absolutely hate doing black top, it takes me about 2hrs to get to any dirt but by then I'm exhausted from blacktop riding.

I’ve done anywhere from 200-800 in a day on this thing. But obviously depends on if I’m on the black top or harder tracks. Between 300-400 is usually a good adventure route for a day. A mix of both blacktop and tracks.
