SOLO on an Island in SWEDEN with NO PLAN, NO MAP

An unexpected trip to a Swedish island called Brännö in the archipelago south of Gothenburg. I was alone and had no plan or map and this is what happened.

I'm actually from Asperö (1:38 into the video is Asperö), which is the island next to Brännö so I've been quite a bit on Brännö as well. Every Saturday there is this thing called "Dans på Brännö brygga" which means "Dance on the pier of Brännö". People gathered every Saturday, both locals and from the mainland, and danced to both famous and local artists. Let me know if you decide to come back and I'll give you a few tips on islands to visit and what to see. Donsö is a must (actually the world's densest island in regards to shipping companies), it connects with Styrsö by a bridge and people transport themselves with golf carts. Loved the vid! Keep it up!

In order to get to the island with the bridge you should follow the road you were in before the trail of the blue and white dots until you pass a gravel cross road and continue straight ahead. But you should take a turn to the right and walk down to the beach and the boats. It’s amazing and you might even meet some Swedish scouts who usually have camps there. They could also help point you in the right direction or give some advice on what to do or not to do in the nature reserve :) heja G-sjö

  • @newperspective5918

No, not that poisonous, it is not like the white one ("Vit flugsvamp"). If you eat the red one "Röd flugsvamp" you will likely "just" throw up, get som hallucinations and might become dizzy but most likely you won't die. People even ate it back in the day but they removed some parts and boiled it first. Vit flugsvamp (Destroying angel in English) on the other hand, that is very poisonous, and the first symptoms appear after 8-24 hours when it might already be too late and next step is death when your liver collapses. In general, if there are discs or slices under the cap there is a risk of it being very or slightly poisonous, if it is more sponge-like it could be slightly poisonous (tastes very bad), taste bad but not poisonous or tasty and edible.

@@NatashaBergen It was a sarcastic choice of word :) A more correct term would be impossible or not allowed, but the effect is the same. The banks and the state are really trying to eradicate cash payments here. Their indirect argument is the amount of violent crime and robbery in Sweden, which everbody knows is very high today (although not appropriate to mention explicitly). Their real incentive though is to make more money (banks make *_a lot_* on card payments) and also to control people in an even more totalitarian way (than the socialist done for many decades). When cash is killed, the last little privacy that we still got will be gone as well. The banks and the state can follow every little step you take, in real time. It may sound like a cliché, of course, but it makes you think of George Orwell's dystopia "1984".
