Nicely done Dan!! I grew up in Mukilteo and back in the 60's my brother and I used to go out in the evening and fish for seabass with spinning gear and bonito jigs in your neighborhood, fun times and GOOD memories!! Thank you very much for taking me along fishing with you, I've seen all your videos this year and this one is my favorite for sure, especially the boat trip out and back, was like a ride down memory lane. So fun to see that you're still catching fish at one of my favorite places!! Brings back awesome memories of fishing with my brother, can't thank you enough!!

The black seabass are still there and they really come back late 80's and 90's when you could keep 15 it wiped them out. I wish we could keep one or two fisheries need to put a size limit on them or something no small ones under 14in". I've been getting some up to 24in" 12lb now, the day after this video we caught 4 nothing under 20in" had to release them but out at the coast you can keep 7. Thanks for watching & commenting🎣

I like your work, no bs no fancy boat just knows how to fish and how to use live bait. My buddies dad is the same way. Proving it can still be done with a every days man budget

Thank you! I can't justify spending that much money To only used a few times a year and maybe catch a fish. I only use my boat one and a haft months a year. I catch all my salmon off the beach I filled almost two punch cards last season with coho! no humpy's for me! Thanks for watching & commenting🎣

Good stuff. I am always tempted to do this kind of video. It sure would make editing easier. 😂 I am surprised how off you were with your guess. That plug seems hazardous if a flopping fish can unplug it. 👍

Yes i was off on this fish for sure I don't know what happed here. The plug is on a Chain he flipped just right and pulled it out. On the other end of the chain is my spare plug it's zip tide around a bar. He was trying to take me down with him it's going to take more then that.😉 Thanks for commenting🎣

I get Herring if they got herring at possession Bait Co. but not yet they could get them any time the herring start coming in around now. I've been jigging shiner perch for now. Thanks for watching & commenting🎣

Right in front of their eyes sideways the hardest spot not throw the eyes in front. one single 2/0 hook with a pinched barb. Thanks for commenting🎣
