Hi Jack, I chanced upon your youtube channel last night. I like your presentation - clear and informative. Just subscribed your channel. Don't know where in the world you are at the moment and if this is your latest video. Hope you read this message. Haven't been to South America yet. Very expensive to travel there but will make it one fine day. Have to put up with the jet lag and more than 24 hours of flying from my country. Moreover, the situation there is not safe for travellers with the army fighting the drug gangs. Before going there, I'll just be an armchair traveller watching your informative videos. ❤ from Malaysia.

Hey Jack! I've been watching your Ecuador vlogs and I love them so much! I love how much fun you have and the way you appreciate every single thing. I'm planning to travel there next year to explore and do some volunteering. Can I ask how you learnt Spanish and how long it took you? I need to brush up on my Spanish and have been thinking of doing some online classes. Thank you!!

First, thank you so much for watching! Also thank you for your kindness ❤️. I began learning Spanish when I was young, around 10/11 years old. If you speak English, you will pick it up very fast. What helped me was actually living in a Spanish speaking country and learning it there, especially in Ecuador. Lmk if you have other questions!! You can shoot me a DM on IG

@@JackTravels Thank you so much for replying! Yes, I do speak English and I used to study Spanish at uni a while ago, but I'm planning on practising it more consistently now. Thanks for that! I'll definitely have some Qs closer to the travel date and I'm sure they'll be helpful, especially since I intend on going there as a solo woman!
