Solo in Copenhagen
Hello all,
This was my first ever solo travel adventure and I went to Copenhagen! I ticked off things on my bucket list this trip and I overcame so much fear and anxiety. Hope you enjoy my video, maybe it'll give you inspiration to travel by yourself!
My three day itinerary (what I did):
DAY 1:
- Spent the morning with no plans. Find a map, venture into the city and just keep walking. Explore the shops, different streets and the culture of the city.
- Had lunch at Kongens Nytorv and absorbed the atmosphere
- Went on a canal tour on a boat
DAY 2:
- I went to Copenhagen planetarium.
- I then went for lunch at Torvehallerne food market (a MUST!)
- Explore the shops some more and ventured to some vintage/retro/thrift shops
DAY 3: (my favourite)
- I went to Copenhagen zoo - it was so magical
- I went to Copenhagen botanical gardens
- I had a look at Rosenborg Castle
- Enjoyed a hot chocolate
- I saw the sunset from the round tower
- I then spontaneously decided to get a tattoo...
- And finally, enjoyed a solo dinner date

I hope I don’t sound patronising or anything, but you are absolutely precious 😄. Your positivity is just so nice, I’ve been smiling all the way through the video 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay and that you chose our city for your first solo trip. I hope you will come back and do it again, but in the summer. You will love it even more 😊 Thanks for the video!

Thank you 🥰 this is so kind!
The key to your AIRBNB is coded to only be able to open your door - so the other locks in the building use fewer pawls in the lock, therefore your key can only open your door...

I am just writing this to be of help. I am guessing that it is a language barrier thing and I also think that most people who have seen the video, and therefore might know what you are commenting on, can guess that you mean the opposite of what you have written, when you wrote: _"The key ... is coded to only be able to open your door"_ - would mean that it could not open any other doors - so I think you meant to write that it was "the only key coded to open your door" _"therefore your key can only open your door.."_ - same as above that would mean it could not open any other doors, and I think you meant to write "therefore only your key can open your door". As mentioned to start with this is only written to hopefully be of help.
You said you had a Copenhagen pass. It probably gives free public transport, with Train, S-Train, Metro, Buses, and the yellow harbour ferries. You can do hop on and hop off as you like. When it is cold, you need to have something on your head. The area of the head is really big, so heat loss is enormous. Try CPH in Juli, is another thing. You won't regret it.
Charming lady. You should come back when its summer. So much better. Many more cool things to do. And people smiles 😂

@@racheleveritt Which shows. You are one brave lady. One surgestion, if you wish to socialize more, maybe book a hostel. Not saying the people there will be locals, but you might be put in more extroverted circumstances. Not saying that is better than what you did. Just wow. Great job, self love.

Next House near the central station is amazing. Extremely modern, female only dorm, friendly staff, group dinners, pub crawls, rooftop bar with lots of people hanging out.@@racheleveritt
