Living full-time in my rolling tiny home has been the best decision of my life. Off-Grid living offers a peace and connection to life that you just can't explain. When i first started van life i build a stealth camper van with the mindset the you had to live a stealth van life and i soon discovered that you can just live the city van life and boondock in the countryside and as long as you are respectful of the backcountry and cities you live in. Stealth van life in not necessary. Be proud of the life you choose to live, Share this van life journey with everyone. Remember Tiny Homes and The whole tiny house lifestyle is very popular and #vanlife is no different. When you don't hide it people will come say hi and ask you questions. The world is more curious than hateful. Well......Welcome to my everyday van life adventures. My name is Chrome Valdez and i travel full-time with Cruz the bulldog. Stay weird everyone and thank you for being here.

amazing and inspirational! I'm 65 and going to build a camper on my Mazda pickup, til I find a van I can afford. I love your setup... I want to travel coast to coast (I live on Vancouver Island) so need something like yours for my 2 big dogs, cat, little bunny and me: eating, sleeping, hidey space for kitty--such an awesome idea for kitties!!!

She's wonderful and her resolve should be celebrated. We should also recognize the fact that poverty and insecurity is a systemic feature of the economic system we live under. She works for a Vet who pays her survival wages. He lives in a big house and drives a BMW to work. His worker lives in a minivan which she drives to work. He couldn't make his profits without her. He not only needs her, but also needs her to be poor and desperate for a low paying job. This system has to be overthrown. Capitalism is a backward, irrational system of exploitation for the sake of the rich.

She deserves better. Everyone does. She works for a Vet who runs a business. He relies on her and her coworkers to make a profit. He pays them wages which are less than the overall value they produce. He takes the difference and calls it profit. He lives in a big house and drives a BMW to work. His worker lives in a minivan which she drives to work. Capitalism makes use of people for the sake of profit. People deserve better than this.

Most KZreadrs that showcase the ________ of others will do so by making a video about themselves and their own reactions to other's ________. You sir, are different. You don't shove yourself into the story of other people. You make a video about them and their experience. I appreciate that. Not saying I don't enjoy me some Chrome time. Saying I see what you are doing. By NOT putting your face in the video and NOT saying much, if anything, says so much more. Especially coming from you, a person who (I think) enjoys his spotlight time. Good work sir.

I third this. Chrome I found is a kind and caring man. Sure he needs to make a living but he doesn't just think of himself he thinks of others too. You can see he is so passionate towards people, total strangers to the eye but he always tries to give back to the ones in need when he can. He's totally raw and I dig that, he's not fake like some of the glorified channels out there. Thanks for being you Chrome man and Cruzer is a welcoming addition to the family, indeed!!!

And what's about the only bad thing about his channel is he don't read or respond to the comments. He said that himself. He said he scans through them to get out the bad folks and comments that may have foul language but he don't reply or really read them he said. That's a negative thing for me. But I do love the channel and how he is with others and I appreciate his work.

My father became a Van Lifer when I was 14. I'm 63. He bought a Jewel Tea delivery truck and built himself a great home on wheels. At the time, I didn't realize why he built it, but he lived in it when he and my mother divorced. He was great with tools so he built everything he needed from his bed, cabinets, mini-kitchen, everything. I'd love to live in a van just like he built.

There are so many videos of expensive, high-end builds and I think it’s absolutely awesome to show what regular folks on a budget can do, just as creatively and passionately. Prayers for you Kelly, I can relate with what you're going through, but happened to me long before I got into van life, however, you're strong and don't give up, each time time we go through things in life, sets us up for a new and different journey, with hope we don't miss the turn again and don't go back into a similar situation, to keep going forward no matter the struggles, life isn't easy, but to just keep breathing and live a day and a step at a time, tomorrow is never promised, but when tomorrow becomes a new today, it's another new day to live and move on the best we can for each day given. I've made it through all that mess through time, and here I am living like never before too. Van life is also much less stressful too, can start saving more money, and gain back some things little bit by little bit, too, especially the more important things in life, there's always hope in every new day that comes and goes. Blessings to you Kelly, and thanks Chrome for sharing this with compassion too. Be blessed and safe. 💖🤗 Give Cruzzie hugs for me too 😊

What a lovely lady and a lovely little home she has made. I am the same age and can relate to her story. The main reason I’m not living in a van is because I have my youngest (12 years). Good luck to you Kelly 💕 and thanks for posting Chrome x

You go grrrrrlfriend! I'm 62 and having to start completely over after losing my beloved husband to ALS in April of this year. I lost everything. Wiped out financially and every other way. I was able to get a very used motor home and have been working on it while living in it with my two Giant Schnauzers. New chapter, new adventure!

@@dany-lgoten2273 Thank you, Dany! I pick lumber for free at home building sites here in Texas. When the framers are done there leave mountains of great quality lumber. That is a lot of money I don't have to use on renovations. I'm also using wood from my barn and old fences on my farm I had to leave.

There’s hope for me! Thanks for sharing your story. I’m starting over as well after moving to another state to help take care of my mom. Well after I got there my mom changed her mind. I was kicked out of her apartment, brother didn’t want me around him and his wife, sister didn’t want me. Always worked and had my own but then pandemic hit and the job market kind of left me hanging . This thread had has helped me to get over my anger and know that I too can rebuild at this stage! God’s speed to you after losing your husband.🙏🏾

A truly remarkable story of a strong woman! Wishing her all blessings she deserves. There are so many more people going to living on wheels and some not for retirement but for survivability. Certain places here in the states are seeing more evictions because people have lost their jobs. More families living together and I see this trend growing. For some hard times can be turned into new opportunities. Thank you Chrome for the interview. She really did a good job inside her van and including 2 cats! Where there’s a will there’s a way! Safe travels to everyone👍😁
