Solo Camping The Great Smoky Mountains: Wildlife Encounters [Ep. 3]

Спорт

In this video, I finish my 9 day Fall camping road trip in the Great Smoky Mountains. I spent two night solo camping at Cades Cove campground as I explored around the loop and the entire National Park. I had the best day of wildlife videography/photography of my life on the loop and at the Oconaluftee visitor center. Watch as I encounter turkey, deer, black bear and elk.

Your video is such an inspiration to me. I too an avid camper and hiker/ artist. What I want to do is go on adventures like this across the country and document my adventures in my art. Every time I go on a hike I am always taking a sketch book with me and a camera. I live alone and part of that is kind of sad because I would love company however its these hikes and solo camping trips that keep me alive. Its spiritual for me. But anyway keep up the great work and happy camping my friend!

The elk are amazing. Was lucky enough to see about 30 elk grazing in that same open field at the welcome center about 6 years ago. Nothing like it. Loved your video and editing.

Came across your video while looking for videos on backcountry campsite #75 in the Smokies. The shot of the Elk drinking in the creek is top notch. I smashed the like button and just subscribed. Great job, young man!

I enjoyed watching your videos. Just the entire vibe and scenery, quite relaxing. I enjoy your attention to detail and the positioning of your camera to get the perfect video. Thanks for taking the time to show us your traveling...have you considered towing a small A frame trailer of small casita rv ? Well anyways great Job. Made me feel like I was there in your camp sight. That’s what I really enjoyed...wish for more closeups to environment.

Really like your channel, mostly follow it for your fishing videos. Wondering if you heard any tree knocking at night during these videos in the Appalachians, indicative of Bigfoot closed by.. Never go anywhere alone, unarmed and without a personal gps, not trying to scare anyone, but have you ever heard of the Missing 411 cases?
