Starting from Ghar Lapsi Beach, the jump-off point in the town of Siggiewi, the hiking trail is composed of a rocky cliff on one side and a wonderful stretch of the sea on the other.
The hike may take 30 mins or more, depending on your phasing. Make sure to wear a good pair of comfortable footwear. Bring enough water as well to keep yourself hydrated, especially now that it’s summer. If you’re into rock climbing, the cliffs there are also perfect for that.
From where I pitched my tent, I can also see Filfla, an islet in the middle of the sea. The night sky was full of stars during that night and the full moon also shone its brightest.
We used to go fishing here, but this time I just went alone. I really wanted to try camping just like the old days. This time I’m trying a different approach by doing it solo - camping solo while cooking my own food, making my own coffee, and having a good night’s sleep in the wild. Of course, to cap everything off, I had to make a quick dip into the waters.
This whole adventure was a nice way for me to relax, after a week of work, and be one with nature.
