Solo Backpacking in a Arkansas Wilderness | Caney Creek and Buckeye Trail

Go on a solo backpacking trip in a Arkansas Wilderness. I hike the Caney creek and buckeye trail in the Caney Creek wilderness area in the Ouachita mountains. I hike along a ridge and see stunning rock formations and views from the buckeye trail. The next day I hike along the Caney Creek and take in the breathtaking spring water. I find a waterfall and a otter eating fish.

Just found your channel and have been binging your videos! You do great work and go to some of my favorite places as well as some I've not been to yet! I'm a fellow Arkansan from the Little Rock area, and spend as much of my time as possible in the Ouachitas or Ozarks! Mt. Nebo is one of my favorite places on earth, been staying a few nights a year there every year since I was about 2 years old! So I know a lot of the good Arkansas haunts! Look forward to watching all your content and maybe I'll run into you some day out on the trail!

@@jaygreen4320 I understand! A spine injury holds me back a great deal. I can only do the non-strenuous trails and a lot of my time in the outdoors involves driving the many dirt forest roads! I'm very thankful there is still plenty for me to see and do despite my physical limitations! I'm glad channels like this exist for us to live vicariously!
