The space battle is absolutely your best friend as androids, it's basically just raining colonists. I've personally never had it rain on my colony, but I assume it can?

You've got some of the most killer ideas - I was honestly bankrupt for ideas and I was just gaining perspective on where my series are going, then I looked at your modlists and setups and it just reminded me of playing toy soldiers as a kid to watch some of your series. For all of you wondering why he’s growing rice for use with androids, when solar flares happen and they knock out your power supply, it’s always good to have a backup of packaged meals. You can’t only rely on recharging alone, plus you can’t recharge when in a caravan so food is a requirement there.

Very cool, I was trying to put together a SoS2 mod list with Androids but I kept running into late game bugs that kept breaking my save. Crossing fingers your mod list works :) So i can use it after you of course. Have fun, stay safe.

Gonna point it out in case you didn't know. But the kid that gives you the option to fake down your colonists, Do NOT work with your tiny robots (mod name is misc. Robots) downing them just kills them

@UCJmYaMhrHAwT5pxvQ--WaLA Yes. He's got a mod installed that let's you control your colonists and allow them to play dead. They then drop down on the ground and act just like they were knocked unconscious. For all intents and purposes, the game treats them as they were. But, you have the opportunity to turn it back off and allow them to get to safety after the threats leave you alone.

You can get T5 bots from events. They hate everything that's not them.

It's a pretty stupid strategy but if you have a SkyMind Core and a personality in it you can just download it into a T5. When you have a industrious, sanguine, kind T5 with cybernetic limbs who can do everything you start to understand why the T5s hate humanity to begin with. The fact that an inferior species that spends half the day eating and the other half sleeping has the gall to complain about the taste of your homemade nutrient paste is infuriating. When they proceed to have a mental break and smash the paste machine they shouldn't be surprised when you start crafting yourself a charge lance...

At a certain point "Sonny" is going to become "Father"

really looking forward to this series, having an android leader is such a fresh roleplay and using human prisoners as forced labour is dark but beautiful

Currently doing an Android only run thanks to you. You have some great challenge ideas, and the frequent change in mods make every new playthrough interesting in its own right; the gameplay is always fresh.

I just recently subscribed a couple of weeks ago and I've enjoyed going back and watching these old playlists of videos.

Sonny is such a nice robot. He allows his prisoner to take a big dump out in the open instead of making him relieve his hygiene in his concrete bucket. What a nice android.

This my favorite channel. The way you *enjoy* games is something I've always tried to achieve and haven't. I really enjoy watching you put on such a good show for us.

God the modding community is what makes this game so incredible. There are so many mods which work so well with each other that you can create just about any style of game you want. Singularity robots? There's a mod for that. Silly stuff going on? Mods for that. Lovecraftian Eldritch Horrors? Mods. Silly Singularity Lovecraft? Modsmodsmods Just never ending and I love it. It's games like this that made me look into mod support anytime I think of getting a new game, because I know the presence of mods will extend the time I play by countless hours.

Not gunna lie, your videos are great for playing long term strategy games. I do watch them, but your voice is actually pretty satisfying to listen to

This is the DLC we deserved - a species variety pack including androids... not royalty.

Darkness mod is interesting. Forces you to prioritize light as much as you probably would in real life to be able to work. Would also like to see this turn into a Terminator scenerio where you just wipe out all human civilization from the map.

One challenge I found fun with this was to essentially Bondrewd myself with these mods. Essentially, chips that let you rest in bed and use surrogates to do stuff, and some that turn normal humans into.surrogates to.control. started as a T1, built 4 surrogates, captured one(who was a faction leader) and converted him, did the S3 installation, and voila! One character, 5 bodies! Was an interesting game, at least! Excited to see how this series goes for you! It's a rad mod, and 'Rapidly propogating robots' has never gone wrong!

5:10 you should either make a stockpile for bricks by the stonecutter or order your stonecutter to drop it after making it. Save alot of time for the cutter of only going out to get the rocks and not hauling the bricks

I did a challenge like this before. The difference is the main colonist is a 90 year old who must upload his mind to a computer before dying of old age. He struggled until he died during the upload process itself.

This might be my favorite series so far

I always love playing as androids. You should build a charging station if you haven't, the "use battery" refers to the internal battery in the androids so that way you won't need to produce food.

heatwave can be dealt with either passive coolers or theres some mods that add temperate control and aircons (as well as dusters) my videos do have them

This guy sounds like my current dnd character. (Warforged cleric of the forge). They worship the god of constructs (true neutral) but are netrual evil themselves, they collect constructs and make them their acolytes. (They also can make their own, but the DM is making it hard to do that, so mostly they buy/capture constructs and convert them)

I think the dev(s) for mod manager are working on a quick install for modlists, but it’ll probably be a while before that is a function. I think they’re also going to add folders and other organizing functions, which gets me way more exited than it should.

So, if you get animal handling. Get a bunch of aerofleet and just make an area outside your base for them. Raiders attack them because they're your animals, which can cause some fun moments of melee raiders killing themselves on your aerofleets as they explode. Helps with base defence if you keep them in a small area in front of your turrets.

This looks like a pretty cool scenario

You should name your civilization "The Stack" If you google what it is, you'll see why it fits
