Here are my favorite tips for starting out a mulch project:
1. Invest in your equipment! Use a mini skid steer and a dump trailer to save you time and backbreaking labor
2. Drop piles of mulch strategically around the property and factor in how far each pile can be spread
3. Spread mulch with your HANDS, not a rake, for the best looking and materials-saving result!
BONUS: Make sure to edge the beds with a bed redefining tool and use a weed whacker for extra definition!
