This helped me with my university project, thank you!
Hi sir. I'm a beginner to this software and don't have any knowledge of other similar softwares, so I had tried some 100 places to learn but nothing like your tutorials. I never felt like I'm learning from internet even a single time. U teach so precisely mentioning every single command but even then, videos are short and clear to understand even for a novice.
One way I did my thread cut was to use a plane on either end of the bolt and nut about 10mm from each surface as a start point and there was no need to edit the ends of the threads because they extended past the ends causing a smooth thread start. Also I chambered my bolt end and nut ends before I even threaded them. They came out perfect with no need to clean up the ends.
7:10 You can just check "Thread with start face" option under the Thread options so you dont have to use Cut Extrude to remove the excess thread.

where is this command?
sir, loving your channel. I never liked working on softwares but ur style of explaining is nice and i am literally learning i can say. thank you
Great series of tutorials, I am learning a lot! One quick point -- taps are used to thread holes (aka "tapping") and dies are used to thread shafts.

Thank you very much! I enjoyed and learned from your excellent tutorial!
Thank you very much for uploading this helpful video. I like your all video they are very easy to understand. I was new in solidworks a month ago and I start watching your video, and now I am nearly expert to make drawings. Thank you so much
You give me total answer, I ask but you fill total doubt. Thanks for this job. Please kept it
U are just awesome sir❤️❤️ Love from Bangladesh🇧🇩
It is obvious that you are a very knowledgeable person in SolidWorks. I had to play it several times to understand you. Thank you very much.

VERY NICE TUTORIAL....I WATECHED TILL END AND MY CONCEPTS ARE CLEARED OF MOTION STUDY AND ASSEMBLY...... THANK YOU FOR MAKING SUCH SOLIDWORKS TUTORIAL VIDEOS..... : )
yes, that is absolutely right. you really genius person. as you teaching for us we are appreciate you and god bless for and good look for future.
Hey bud we use metric die for making threads on a shaft as u said M6×1. Der the shaft dia is already 6 and u added threads externally which eventually increased the diameter, everything aside well made tutorial for beginners..👍👍

Is this not correct way to make a nut bolt pair then? Pls elaborate
@sreeramkonnanath8692
3 жыл бұрын
@@sparshgarg7937i think what he said was that adding the thread would result in an increase in the shaft dia from 6 to something more, the method is right is suppose, just have to compensate for thread thickness
@paulpahl1607
3 жыл бұрын
@@sreeramkonnanath8692 Metric die would have been the right choise instead of matric Tap I think. Because then the coil would be cut into the core (so 6mm outer diameter stays correct) and not extruded on it.
u are doing a perfect job dude thank you I learned so much from u
Sir, Thank you for the detailed video
At 10:07 he initially says the hole thread selection is a DIE, but later corrects it to TAP for the nut hole, so don't get mixed up, a tap threads a hole & die threads a bolt (for reference).
Sir ..this tutrial much help me to learn solid works thnk u 😃
Dear Sir, I enjoy your tutorials and thanks for sharing them with beginners as myself. Perhaps a bit slower when selecting the faces as in cutting the lead edge of the thread and in selecting the animation of nut to bolt. This is a great software for machine parts and assembly work. Good work
Excellent Demonstration !

You teach well. Thank you for your video
Excellent tutorial sir. I have learned a lot in yout videos.
Very god video. thanks. so many things cleared up for me.

Good tutorial. Thanks for making it.
Many thanks for the video!
Thank you for a very nice tutorial. I learned a lot!
Thank you very much !!! great video
Thank You. Very helpful.
well done dude, Thank you. just one question, if you make thread by extrude it on 6mm cylinder, it will not M6 bolt, does it? anyway thank you for very good video tutorial. I learned many things from you.
Tks master. Nice tutorial!
Hi It is a very nice video and I gain lot familiar with bolts and nuts but I have one question we use die for bolts and taps for nuts, so can you please clarify it. Waiting for your reply
Really nice video, very explanatory!

Nice tutorial my brothers.
Thank you Saurabh sir
thank you so much man very good
Great job my boss💪💪
Dear sir you video is very helpful Thankyou so much 😊
Sir your videos are too good for understanding, but one request that add dimension of part you making plz provide us or link it in description.thnks sir
One doubt, if this is M6 bolt, then it means it should go through 6mm diameter hole. But if you extrude a thread, won't the maximum diameter increase?
ıt was very helpful. Thanks
Thank you very much... Genius...
great work, keep up.
Thank you so much
appreciated thank yyou
Your awesome sir super teaching
Any suggestions of how can we make BSP type of threading by same method.
thank you very much
bro ur so good keep it up
hi, may i ask will it still fits if i 3d print this model? thanks
Good work. But can you apply a washer with it
what version do u have? because i currently using 2013 , it doesn't have thread option in hole wizard
That's great but how do you create clearance/play between the nut and the bolt? If you could 3d print these they won't screw together
Please make a video based on types of nut and volt
thanks man... really helpfulll
Nice tutorial bro !
Great
hey, it's a greate video and very helpful, but I have only one question for you, How to stop the rotation when the bolt reaches the end. Because eventhough the bolt reaches the ending point, it keeps rotating though it does not travel any further. How to stop that animation. ?
great job
Hi there, currently working on a uni assignment an having trouble with female cosmetic threads in drawing. When I try to add the piece to a drawing the thread is shown not as a line but a detailed swirl that when zoomed out looks like a solid black line. Could you please suggest a way to fix this and put it back to a conventional manner.
Great Tutorial for educational purposes. Regretfully, the designed parts (Nut & Bolt), once produced with a CNC machine, do not fit in real life...
THANK YOU
Kindly make Tung & groove flange assembly
Sir very nice Tutorial
Nice video mate, can you tell me why i can't make the nut go to the end in animation. I already increased the time..
Any specific reason of taking 45 angle during cut extrude for chamfer??
thank u very good
Thank you.
I guess you made both nut and bolt left handed !!!... You can use left hand for nut and right hand for bolt in order to make the components mate at the end. I'm a beginner & learned a lot from ur videos. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥plz clarify if I'm right !!
Sir, What is your system configuration. please make a video for system requirements and specially Which graphic card will be need for solidworks. 🙏🙏 please sir, its my humble request. thank you for making very informative videos for us.
thank you it heped and nice explanation

Thank you sir
Please tell which verison of cad are you using
Thanks buddy..
thank u so much :)
Damn i feel like no matter how big someone's experience is on SW, they ALWAYS run into some troubles to do anything, because it's just one of those hell of complexe programs on which you cannot make anything good from the first try lmao. Good tutorial bro thanks !!
Srewjack and machine wise and plummer block madi part madi assembly madi sir
Can u tell me which hole is used for self threading in solidworks??
Pls make video tutorials on Air cooled chiller
How to choose a plane (Top plane/Front Plane/Right Plane) for drawing. In some tutorial you choose Top plane whereas in other tutorials you choose Front plane to begin with the drawing. Is it due First angle projection or third angle projection
As for the little problem of the nut traveling the wrong way on the bolt in the animation, do not worry, it does not strip the threads out of your virtual nut like it would on a real nut. I went to Mates>Screw>Edit feature>Mechanical Mates>Screw> Distance/revolution=1.0mm, and *UNCHECKED* Reverse. Then the nut went the right way on the bolt.

What software do you use to create this design?
It helps alot
Ur design are excellent but can u plz make one video of arranging the whole screen layout like that of yours actually for beginners its is a bit difficult tu find each n every command they are not on home screen like that of yours i hope u would help me out...
Canu make more videos of flow simulation.
Can u explain mechanical assembly detaily
Could u mention which version of Solidworks is this?
