Thanks for your reply, i try to shutdown and rest the computer for 30 mins and i try again, the same issue happen. my computer specs: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40GHz Installed memory (RAM): 24GB System Type: 64-bit Operating System, X64-based Processor Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 is that good or need to upgrade? please give your advice.

Actually in most of the cases i didn create 2D files .

Kindly upload drawing and details part of sheet metal for manufacturing point of view.

Just in case if you can not drag the forming tool: right click design library click Forming Tools Folder select Yes in the dialogue box

I own laser cutting machine, is it possible to put drawing lanes from other programs to solidworks and then save file as .dxf?

yes its possible solidworks accepts many formats & you can convert it into DXF file for cutting,

in the minute 3:38 when i try to convert entities show me a warning: indential contours in the same sketh are not allowed for this operation, why can't i do it ?

Gusset always used to strengthen the structure, specially we used in between to angular sheets for strength,

Hola bue día, tengo un problema con el tutorial, no me es posible realizar la operacion de forming tool mencionada en el minuto 29:30; me aparece un cuadro de texto para insertar la pieza y la maneja como independiente; ya he probado algunas posibles soluciones; 1- cambiar de extención los archivos para agregarlos a la libreria; 2-desintalar y reinstalar nuevamente el software 2 veces; 3- reubicar la ruta de accesi a la libreria de diseño. Ojalá me pudieras ayudar, de verdad me interea mucho poder aprender esto que se aplica en el tutorial. Saludos desde México.

open the forming tool library drag the forming tool to the surface where you want to fix & it will show you a center point in forming tool you can just define the dimension.
