This video includes the whole setup minus the modeling of the parts themselves, I go through all the steps and give you a bit of design perspective. This simulation yields the stresses, displacements, connector axial, shear and bending moment forces and you can also use it to analyze bigger structures.
It's always important to keep in mind that these are simulations and if you are doing things badly, the results will also not be ideal
