Solidworks simulation tutorial | Structural analysis of shaft and pulleys
The 1.5-in-diameter solid steel shaft is simply supported at the ends.
Two pulleys are keyed to the shaft where pulley B is of diameter 4.0 in and pulley C is of diameter 8.0 in. Considering bending and torsional stresses only, determine the locations and magnitudes of the greatest tensile, compressive, and shear stresses in the shaft. Compare solidworks simulation results with hand calculation.

Thanks
you did not considered the torque created on each pulley by the unbalance forces.

Everything was good there is only one question Your cross sectional area is 4.75 In^2 if you divide it on 30 inches , length of the whole shaft, it gives you 6.5 and it is less than 10 means 10 times smaller than the length and with this in mind you should treat your beam as Truss element why did not you choose Truss on your Cut list before simulating?
