In this video, I show the Solidworks Autotrace feature. Using Autotrace, we can use an image in the sketch environment to capture the outline of the image. Then, we can create 3D solids from it.

What I don't understand is I have a black and white image and it's mostly straight lines... it has such a hard time tracing it.

i cant use this tool, when i go to the sketch picture tool, i cant select the option, and i have the autotrace complement activated, any idea why it happens guys?

click on sketch before tracing
