After a two-year hiatus - the solemn procession held every eighth of December in honor of La Virgen Inmaculada Concepcion de Malolos was once again brought out in full splendor through the streets of downtown Malolos. The old image of the Inmaculada Concepcion of the Rustia, Tantoco and Lagos families rode her magnificent silver carroza triunfal and was escorted by the patron saints of the barrios comprising the parish. Also in attendance is the Senor Sto. Nino de Malolos of the old Barrio Kamestisuhan, the venerated image that is the centerpiece of the biggest celebration of the Sto. Nino fiesta in the island of Luzon.
Take note, however, that the contrary to what many people might think, the Festejada image of the Inmaculada Concepcion was also brought out during her solemnities in 2020 and 2021. As usual, the image was put on her white orchid festooned carroza and brought to and brought home from the Cathedral in procession, albeit in a very subdued manner and with only a handful of devotees in tow.
