oh the snapmaker is a great tool! I use it for mainly electronics related projects, but can also be very useful in many other applications. I would highly recommend it

Good but how you get quality transparency print is it ink jet printer or laser printer...?

I used an ink jet printer. printed a couple and clear glued them together to get a nice transparency with the pads blacked out

Try a glass pane to evenly spread the solder mask, instead of a putty knife.

Yeah, using a glass pane would definitely help make the soldermask layer even. I like using a putty knife because I can spread the soldermask and make sure it covers the whole board. For me just applying pressure with glass to spread the soldermask to cover the entire board is trickier to do. I could have tho pressed glass against the mask after I spread the soldermask by the putty knife. That is probably be the best way for me

Маска слабо засвечена, по-хорошему её поверхность должна оставаться глянцевой, а не матовой после промывки. При этом можно не особо беспокоится повредить засвеченный слой - он должен быть уже устойчивым к механическим повреждениям. Возможно, дело в том, что автор использовал плохой шаблон и опасался засветить контактные площадки. Если это так, вы можете попробовать улучшить шаблон, напечатанный на лазерном принтере, при помощи маркера для белых досок или очень мягкого карандаша (для подвода глаз, к примеру). Ещё маска выглядит так, как будто у неё достаточно толстый слой, что тоже не очень хорошо. Возможно это и не так, а всё дело в пигменте. Можно положить сверху стекло и придавить его грузом. Ещё бы я сказал, что в первую очередь маска нужна при плотной компоновке деталей, дорожек и использовании полигонов. В этом случае очень легко паяльником нанести припой не туда, куда нужно и проблемно его убрать. Но при использовании маски такой проблемы нет. Потом уже идет всё остальное - эстетика, защитные свойства и тд.

You can remove uncured soldermask by scrubbing rubbing alcohol on it. For hardened solder mask, I usually use a small scraper or a knife to remove the solder mask
