So very nice to see Pjirkje and little Sylka Faya have such a wonderful new home and sweet friends with whom the can share the meadow. Thank you to Tina and Family as the new owners for sharing some video so we can see them being warmly welcomed to their new home. Even though I am across the pond in Florida, USA, I take these beautiful Friesian to my heart ❤ and feel like I am losing two friends when they are sold and won't be in the Friesian Horses videos any longer. Now I at least am comforted to know they are living in such beautiful surroundings with caring owners and good horses to share the meadow and be their friends. GOD bless all of you...🙏🐎

If only the horses in the meadow knew what Rein was doing in the tractor, they'd have been very happy to see him! Very bittersweet to see Pjirkje and Sylke Faya's new home. I'm very glad they have such a beautiful place, other nice horses, and caring owners. And so kind of Tina to send a video so we can all see them. But Sylke Faya and Pjirkje are two of my favorites, and I'm still very sad to see them go. Moving must be very disorienting for a horse, but they seem to be adjusting fine. So, thanks to Tina and Yvonne, and I hope we get to see more videos in the future. PS watching Pjirkje protect SF from the "ferocious" doggie was amazing. Such a good mem!

These are barock pinto's - in fact a black and white Friesian horse. They have their own studbook since 2009.

@@LeidolfLady OH YES!! I do!! When I first started watching ... a foal was born & I was immediately in love with the Friesian horses. And NOW with Viola ... the way she was standing, her beautiful mane, tail, and perfect coloring I had thought to .. "my goodness she's almost as beautiful as the friesians!" Because Fresians have my loyalty, stolen my heart completely ... I didn't want to say AS beautiful but ALMOST as beautiful! LOL hahaha I love the Pinto coloring but Black horses have always been my favorite color in horses because of 2 classical books I read as a young student in school. Thank you for your insight and pleasant comments!! 🐎🐴🐎🐴🐎 I hope you have a very relaxing weekend!!🙂🙂

I miss little Sylke Faya. She was one of my faves. That girl could RUN!!! Sad they were sold but happy they got to stay together. Thanks for the update on them.

Sylke Faya was my favorite foal also. I loved to watch her run like the wind. So glad that the mother Pjirkje and Sylke were able to be together. I was happy to see their new home.

I'm glad to see how well you take care of your horses. Pjirkje and Sylke Faya have a great new home with some great horse friends. Thank you Tina and your husband for taking care of all the horses including the new horses. They have a great home with plenty of room to roam around and eat grass which they love.

This channel is a nice, welcome surprise. Many years ago, I grew up with Friesian horses in Colorado and we were the first in the state to ever have them. This was in the 1980's. I noticed you're identifying the horse's parents by their numbers. One of our colts (It's the only one I really remember his parents) was sired by Barteld (292 if I remember correctly) and our mare Dalla. Dalla was in the center of Horse Illustrated magazine in 1989. We had a gelding who was just a gentle giant. He stood 17 hands tall and was built SOLID. He was a great driving horse and we would also ride him. Any time he saw me, he would immediately perk up and come right to me. I was in high school at the time and when I wasn't riding him or driving him he would try and play tag in the pasture lol. He loved to chase after me in a trot and if I made a sudden 180 and reversed direction, he would throw his head and turn the other way with his mane flying everywhere. His name was Max and he was a GREAT horse (he was lazy but a lot of fun). I miss you, buddy.

Even though I will Pjirkje and Sylke Faya, it looks like they have a lovely home with other horses to be friends. I'm sure, by now, they are loving it. Little Sylke Faya is probably running them all ragged by now. She is quite the character. Thank you, Tina, for the lovely footage. Please keep us updated. We fall in love with these horses and miss seeing them. I guess if the horses ever need exercise, Rein can get the tractor out...LOL! And, thank you, Yvonne, for showing us this.

Tina and husband, thanks for giving these wonderful horses such a good home. I'll greatly miss seeing Pjirkje and Sylke Faya in videos, but I'm so glad that if they had to go, they went to you! Sylke Faya was my favorite of this year's foals and it looks like a lot of other people are also saying how much they'll miss her.

I am happy that Tina and Hubby have horses with such nice temperaments as Pjirke and Sylke Faya. It makes the transition so much nicer for them all. The stables look nice and well kept and I love the open stalls as well like they are used to! I think it helps all of them adjust much faster to know what's going on with their new family. Thank you for allowing Yvonne to video the horses and the stables. We have all become so attached to these beautiful creatures as you can probably tell! God speed!

When Pirkje is being lounged I can't hear the male voice at first, then Tina says that she can go be fore a cart alone and as a pair, but hasn't been ridden very much. Mr. Tina then says that they should put her in a harness next week.

Sometimes the beautiful green fields with the trees far off looks like Florida but when the tractor went by I realized what was missing. Here there would be a large flock of whire cattle egret following the tractor😀 Tina’s farm is beautiful!

It is always hard to see them sold. I can see that great care has been taken in regard to Pjerkje and Sylke Faya’s well being. Pjerkje was allowed to foal in her familiar stable with those she is comfortable with as well as then allowed Sylke Faya to then bond with her mother before they went to their new home. Clearly their well being and happiness was the priority. Job well done! I am happy for both Pjerkje and Sylke Faya!

So do I! "Aslan" means "lion", in Turkish..... Seems they have a Muslim Pinto( l.o.l!!!) Sorry, but it struck me as being a little smile worthy .. My husband was Mr. Aslanis..... and I love my name, "lion".... Hopefully, the Pinto is strong and fearless, as his name suggests! (so much for trivia... horses are helping bring people together, which is so important!)

Pjirkje and Sylke Faya have a good home with more Freisians. And Pjirkje's experience drawing a carriage is a huge plus, I think. I love watching your videos--make my day. Thank you.

Pjirkje and Sylke Faya are gone from this family. Sad, but Tina and her family are so nice to share video of them at their stahl. Thank you, Tina. I would love to see Sylke Faya growing and how beautiful Pjikje is if send footage to Yvonne over time. Uniek isn’t afraid of the tractor at all. I think she just goes with rest of herd to teach RS herd etiquette if danger near. Rein is not dangerous although creating the smelliest dinner silage😵‍💫🤢😵‍💫 for the herd.

What a wonderful place Pjirkje and Sylke Faya have moved to! Obviously Tina and her husband are fond of the light draft horses, having some beautiful Friesians already (they even have a Richtsje to make Pjirkje and SF feel at home 😀!), and their barock pinto's are wonderful too! Thank you Tina for showing us your beautiful farm and good luck with Pjirkje and Sylke Faya, they will surely be loved and have a happy, healthy life with you! I hope you will send us an update every now and then, for we followers of the Friesian herd are very fond of this mother and daughter, especially little Sylke Faya with her stunning beauty! I enjoyed seeing our herd all together in the meadow. And even though it wasn't for a pleasant reason this time, it still was awesome to watch them running around so gracefully - as has often been said already: poetry in motion!
