The Mat Su Valley has gone from 17,000 people in 1980 to about 110,000 people now and it hasn’t stopped growing. This isn’t that far from the core area. It’s crazy. If you want cheaper land you need to further from the the core area. You can get land like this near Talkeetna for a lot less money.
How much is it??? I was trying to dream what it would be like to get this but without a price I can’t get a full picture…

@@ronaldwalker5575 they are originally posted when they go up for sale, I mark them sold once they sell. I keep them up on KZread because some people just enjoy property tours so I do not take them down off KZread. They are clearly marked as sold in the title and description.
I'd like to find 5 acres, close to water for fishing, with decent hunting.

Are you an Alaska resident? The state has sealed bid auctions on off road property. Most of the lots are about 5 acres. My son and I have lots that are bordering each other with a cabin. You need an ATV or snowmobile to get there. We get our sockeye salmon for the year near there. There is moose, black bear( 3 a year no closed season) brown bear and small game like spruce hen and ptarmigan.

@@stuartabbey5195 Yes, you can buy land from a private seller, but you can’t get state land unless you are a resident. Residency takes a year and that includes resident fishing, trapping and hunting licenses. One of my neighbors is from Ks.
