Sold Newspaper Door to Door, Now this Trader has ₹1 Crore Portfolio | Big Bull Series Ep-57
The purpose of the Big Bull podcast is to educate the budding traders. Seasoned traders share their trading journey, strategies and their experiences which are helpful for new traders.
Today in this Big Bull Series ep- 57 we are with Pradeep Kumar from Haryana, currently working in Gujarat. He started trading 10 years ago but has been trading actively since 2021 with a portfolio size of ₹1 Crore.
He believes trading is similar to a business for him where he only uses 10% of the money, not more than that. He said business is not like a shop where a shopkeeper uses all his profit for himself instead of reinvesting in the shop to increase its business.
In 2014 he first time entered into the Stock market at the age of 27. His friend told him about trading to cover their monthly and personal expenses. He started with 25K capital but in 6-7 months lost ₹22,000.
He said he lost all this money due to lack of knowledge of the stock market. He buys or sells stocks without knowing anything about them. He just trades like gambling at that time.
After that, he changed his broker and, as per the broker's advice, increased his capital to 1 lakh. The broker would then inform him when to buy and when to sell shares in the stock market, but 90% of the time, the broker caused losses for him.
Pradeep Kumar believed that many traders like him were taken advantage of in the stock market, just as he was. Because new traders don’t have knowledge in the stock market, they invest money without understanding, leading to losses.
Everyone said that it's always said to learn from others' mistakes, but they themselves made all the mistakes and learned from their own. At that time, there weren't any resources available to help them understand that there are also fake advisors out there.
He discussed how even today they receive calls from advisors, and these people still deceive new traders into making losses. Their point was that if someone is promising to make a profit for you, they're not looking out for your benefit but rather their own gain.
They say that for some people, the stock market feels like a habit, similar to smoking. If they don't trade for 10 days, they start wishing they had bought a particular stock. The stock market becomes like a habit that's hard to quit, but I studied and understood it, so I kept going.

Jab tak intra ya option ke chakkar me tha tab tak me loss me hi tha. Boss last year same month me main -72000 par tha. Dosto ek batt confirm hai ki agar aap apne loss se kuch thoda bhi sikh lete hai tab aap millionaire ya billionaire nahi bante par us raste par hote hai. Hum zyadatar utna pesa nahi invest kar paate ki hamara portfolio bhi shyd kabhi us level tak pahuche par ummed kabhi na haare.

50000 se nifty aur bank nifty main trade karte wo bhi sirf higher high par sell pattern milta toh sell aur lower low par buy pattern milta toh buy. month main ek se 2 trade hi milta but accuracy iska more than 90 percent hota as i practiced on 2015 to 2023 chart .

I am an option seller ,using kotak since long. on 22 feb I placed stop loss order of nifty 21750 PE at 22 price at 1039 hrs SL order executed at 1057 hrs 150 lots (7500 qty) while the price has not touched my SL price 22, not even once after my order time. I reported to kotak with all screen shot and chart data but no solution all mails too now planning to move to SEBI portal.

This video was all about what NOT to do in the stock market. The interviewer knew it very well as the moment he mentioned he's taken loan to trade in the market, his body language changed throughout the interview. One positive thing is he was really very honest about all his failures and mistakes. The thumbnail is wrong and clickbait. 25k to pehle hi udaa diye the, aur bhi kitne saaf huve. No one can earn 1 cr from 25k by following his steps, but yes you can be reduced from 1 cr to 25k, that's for sure. It's a complete Bull Market post pandemic + that loan amount + your capital = 1 cr. Let's see 1 bear market. (I'm myself a trader & investor from Gujarat.)
